BEST VX GAMES ON THIS SITE.

Good VX games? Well, there goes anything I've made, or in the process thereof!
I was about to heavily suggest Atherion. But that's an "Anaryu game". Which you said you didn't like. So, um, I have no suggestions, I guess?

Tales of the Drunken Paladin. Can't believe I forgot about this one. If you want something fun, engaging, humorous (albeit a bit crude), check this one out.

Plus, both of his add-ons (Big Trouble and Hobtropolis) are done right in the same project vs creating a sequel, so you essentially get all 3 games in one game file.
By the way, this is an example of a game some may tend to ignore if they went off the review ratings. I loved every minute of it, and other sites praise it, but it only scored about an average here. In other words, I tend to make it a habit of testing the games for themselves regardless of what it's rated as, since everybody has their own opinion.

The A is for ASSHOLE.
author=LegendaryCreatorAlways? I find that for the most part the content of the review matches up with the score that the reviewer gave. There are a few anomalies, of course.
The ratings here always contradict themselves with the reviews. I have played 5 bad games in a row using the rating list.
author=LegendaryCreatorThis post doesn't even make sense. Anaryu's games are objectively bad in your opinion? (isn't that pretty much the definition of subjective?)
First off, Anaryu games are bad objectively and subjectively IMO.
author=LegendaryCreatorAnywho, how about this - give us your preferences and perhaps we can suggest games to you. Even giving examples of commercial games you like would be more helpful than what you've given.
2nd, thanks for the list f games.I expected more, although it does seem to be that this site is more XP and 2k3 than VX.
Oh and thanks for the link amer but I was strictly talking about this site.So I guess if anyone else knows any just come on down and post them.
Expiriment. That's the best suggestion I can make right now.
Oh, hi Relic! You were pretty cool! Er, anyway...

No, because I have to play games to see that I like them. I don't have any preferences, and I am speaking of this site specifically.
Which is why I asked for your opinions, so I can play them and see if I like them. Haven't played many VX games.
You, sir, are a troll and are being a dick to people who are trying to help you.
Here's the jist of things: keep playing games until you find something you like. Not only have you picked a fairly particular area of games (VX) you say you don't have a preference and 'need to play'. This is bollocks. You will not download every game you see. You want to play games made with a particular maker, and, probably by the definition of said maker, games that are RPGs. You may have a particular fondness for anime style games- or the opposite, you prefer a grittier style. You have specifically picked a Project Dark Mirror avatar, which indicates you liked that character or the game itself, which will generate a preference. Stating I DO NOT HAVE A PREFERENCE BUT TELL ME GOOD GAMES is stupid, stupid, stupid, and I'm going to damn well call you out on that fact.
What defines "fun" and a "good game" is built on a basic set of principles- developed from childhood, from our first game exposure. How we live our life, what kind of PIZZA WE EAT may all inform our personal game preference. But there is no such thing as I DO NOT HAVE A PREFERENCE. And there is no such thing as a game that is considered universally GOOD. Even games that generally have a strong following (Final Fantasy VI comes to mind) has those who hate the game- as few and far between as they may be.
We've given you games WE, from OUR preference, consider good. Without knowing WHAT YOU PREFER TO PLAY, because you CLEARLY HAVE A MOTHER FUCKING PREFERENCE, we can't help you.

Have you played any commercial RPG games? Which ones did you like?
Best question that could be asked.
No, because I have to play games to see that I like them. I don't have any preferences, and I am speaking of this site specifically.
But you DO have preferences. You already told us one: you don't like Anaryu games. So what draws you to other games that you've played and liked? It's hard to suggest games to someone who already has preferences and won't be upfront about them and shoots down what people suggest.

Correction, from the ones I played I don't like naryu games. I have not played SSP and I am just now starting that.
Even my official game console big name Jrpgs I like don't indicate a preference. I could list games I liked and games I did not like official big named released and you wouldn't be able to tell what kind of games I like in any form.

How am I trolling and being a dick when all I said is I have no prefernece, give me your opinion and I will play and see if I like it?
Like I said above, I could name some Jrpgs I liked through the console generations and you wouldn't be able to find a stand out preference. i will randomly like the game if some unknown criteria is met, and the only way to know that is to play said games just named in this thread. Which I have downloaded.
Also, people who have normal lives have their lives change constantly, not stay the same whether you want it or not negating part of your post there.
I also never said universally good, I said name games in your opinion are good, and when I lay, I will find out if I like it. You know, like what you guys do TO REVIEW GAMES?
