Hi everyone, now before I ask my question keep in mind I'm a noob with this kind of stuff.
Now, I see the buzz on DynRPG is getting big. I was wondering, can it change the max statistics of characters and monsters (HP, MP, Attack and so on?) I want to be able to do that. I'm trying to avoid using the David/Goliath patch (I don't like how it reduces the max AGI to 255.)
Thanks in advance for the help everyone, have a nice day.

Try using RM Limit Changer! It can be used to set several limits (including max stats). The limits on stats can be set anywhere between 1 and 65,535 with this patcher.
RM Limit Changer can be found on the utilities section on this site.

Hi there! Two things:
1. Max data values are actually limited by the program itself (rpg2003.exe). DynRPG cannot change the editor. Instead, it changes how your game (rpg_rt.exe) runs.
2. It's very easy to change the max values. First, download Resource Hacker and open your rpg2003.exe. Find RCDATA\TFORMEDMONSTER. Next look for the MaxValue of the Agi dialogue. Change it back to whatever you'd like. Compile script, and re-save your exe. (Resource Hacker saves a backup.)
Note: It can be greater than 999 of course, but as far as I can see the rpg_rt.exe will only display it up to 999 for heroes in-menu, but you can go beyond that. (Give yourself 999 attack and then equip a weapon with 999 attack. Your str won't go up but you'll do more damage!)
Note2: Goliath is really amazing! I'm using that along with some other tweaks, hence the silly filename I've given my editor. ;)

Actually, IIRC wasn't the AGI reduced to 255 because of some weird problems with it being over 255 for monsters/characters and the ATB going really slowly or something? I faintly recall being told that by Cherry sometime ago.
thanks a million, I really appreciate the help. RMN for the win!
EDIT: If i do that to change the max values, will people who downloaded my game get the max value increase?

Senna's way didn't work for my game. Dragonheartman's did, but his way changes the RPG2003.exe. It's a simple way do change them, but no way for people to get my changes.
Hmm, it may change the way the Database sends information to your game. With that specific maker, so all RPG_RT's inherit the 2003.exe's modifications, I'm not too sure as I haven't avidly tested it. If you have two computers you can try test if they carry it over.
