Also, since it's been verified s/he is inactive in the previous mafia games, I actually think it's kinda dumb to bother to change the avvie and not bother playing it.

I think it's massively bad form (especially from the game master!) to suggest people "have to" reveal their images and roles, basically have to copy-paste the PM they got. It basically makes it impossible for someone not familiar with Phoenix Wright to fake a roleclaim. (not so much you others since you obviously know where to get your Phoenix Wright avatars from) This comes off as massively anti-town but the fact is that I think it lessens the game's fun when things are made so difficult for the mafia. (especially since Gourd ALSO said that the powers apparently were kinda skewed in favour of town)
I mean there's basically no reason to NOT roleclaim, throw in your character's name and image and guys are going to know who is the bad guy and who is not.
So I will encourage the people left not to do a "full reveal", thus keeping at least a little bit of suspense left in the game.
I mean in all our themed games have we ever had a convincing fake roleclaim? No. Because they are even harder to do than in regular mafia where there's not fluff attached to them.
Yeah, yeah, you can kill me for this but I just wanted to get it off my chest.

It's like putting a paper on your back saying "welp we're too lazy/stupid to use our brains so we're just going to let our roles do the talking teehee". Like that.
Of course, fake-claim is sometimes inevitable for town to win but considering town IS made to outpower mafia, then it'll make townies comes off as desperate.
Not saying it's wrong for people to want to win (who doesn't?).

He didn't say that people had to. He said that it would be a good idea. How does it make it hard to fake claim? PW images are...not hard to find. How is it anti-town AND anti-mafia? Frankly, I mass claiming is perfectly within the spirit of the game. How could it not be if just roleclaiming by yourself is not?
By the way, I don't want ROLE claims. I don't want to hear anything about your ROLE.
I want FLAVOR claims. There is a big difference.
But yeah I'm perfectly okay with killing you two if you don't reveal.

I missed a the or an and there somewhere and couldn't edit. What I meant was that my post was anti-town. (as I usually am anyway, so I'm back to being my normal self!)

The thing is that I don't think it's hard for anyone but very bad liars to fake a claim. I think the scumteam is composed partially of bad liars. All you must do is...post what character you are. There are about 80000 after all. Town who don't claim their flavor make it easier for mafia to do so as well.

I don't think revealing flavour is the best idea because any Murderer familiar with the game will be able to connect dots (99.9% chance that Detective Gumshoe = The Investigator).
Ldida1's appearance at this stage is pretty convenient but I'm going to stick to MirrorMasq for now.
