CloseIdida is town because I believe he is town. Do you really think scum would have the chutzpah to claim Edgeworth?
That said, maybe flavor DOESN'T REALLY equal alignment, but it certainly seems like it does with Apollo and Mia's flips.
The plan is no longer viable because Shinan and ivoryjones have opened up the door for scum to go "naaah." assuming they are not scum.

My bad, I didn't see ldida's roleclaim. Edgeworth was a baddy for most of the first game but I don't see him being a Mafia in this game, no.
I'm just a bit skeptical of you at the moment because so far, all we've had to go on this day has been your word, and like any PW player would tell you, we need more than someone's 'testimony' to be certain of their innocence. Also, I believe that you're skilled enough to make an elaborate lie, not to mention Franziska definitely had more of a mean-streak than Edgeworth.
Either way, though, there are definitely more suspicious players at the moment so I'm staying put with regards to my vote.

Then, when CAVE called him out on not wanting to vote for ldida1 (despite having an even worse posting pattern than Despite {unintentional pun}), he made some argument about how he was suspicious of ldida1 as well?

He's mildly scummy. I misread one of his posts and thought he was saying he had always suspected Idida and it turns out that wasn't what he was saying, but he's been casting a lot of suspicion on various people without actually voting any of them and when he finally does vote it's because Despite said he was a weirdo. He's honestly not my top choice to lynch today (Zeuzio is) but at this point it's either him or we nolynch again.

His posting style reminded me of the way I was working while I was mafia, so I put the first vote on him.
That said, mass flavor claim could still destroy this game. It just doesn't have as much potential if townies are, you know...bein babies.

Made a vote on chearlie without any real justification that I can see, made a really weird post about chearlie in other games, asked a question about Shinan that just seemed very ingenuine to me. Like, he did not direct the question to Shinan, he just asked it to open air and didn't put forward his thoughts on the matter. He's being weird and doesn't sound like Town Marrend to me.
Like I said, he might be scum. He's just not as likely as other people in my mind.
