I don't think they know what to do with Tomb Raider. I mean, even when they make a good one it doesn't sell very well. That's a tricky spot for a well-known franchise that actually receives advertising. It's like you're doing everything right but nobody cares anyway. Tomb Raider Underworld was pretty good but didn't even breach 500k sales on the 360. Guardian of Light is absolutely fantastic but went nowhere either.

That’s because the majority of people are idiots. They don’t want creativity or innovation they just want the same mindless crap, copy-pasted over again and again with a new paint job with shinier graphics, because it’s what they’re comfortable with and they hate having to think. It’s the reason FPS have been dominating this current generation. That and the mindless violence.

Square Enix's tech demo for their new Luminous engine. If this is what games will look like in 5-10 years, wow...

That can't be the whole truth because if it was then the Tomb Raider games should have sold a lot!
It's funny that the only new game revealed that I cared about was for a console I'm unlikely to even buy.

ZombieU for the Wii U looks freaking awesome. It actually looks scary and very tense. I was watching IGN's live demonstration of the game yesterday and it really blew every other zombie game since RE1 and RE2 out of the water in terms of atmosphere. Games like Dead Space don't even come close (probably because ZombieU has a realistic setting).

For games that aren't new reveals, Tekken Tag 2 is shaping up nicely. The new Snoop Dogg stage gave me a really good chuckle. Really can't wait for the game to be released in September because I've really been craving a good Tekken fix lately.
