Match 2: Team Zeuzio because Meerla could headbutt Vorgg onto his back and then throw Zurgg at Questa's face to finish up the battle quickly and efficiently.

Match 3: I'm predicting that diarrhea is like the ultimate weapon, so Rollout would easily be stopped by that, and Lee pfff, all he can do is jump, accidentally fall in the net and he's screwed. Kind of... Anyway, I vote Team MrChearlie

Match 5: Like Zeuzio said, EXO would be effected by Rosey and Mashanaan whatever's move choices are very unhelpful. Team LockeZ

Match 1: The two guys in power suits can shoot energy beams at each-other all day. They have more or less the same powers so it'll be a pretty even match. However, I think Lia is weak vs. Snorc. Snorc's super power is to immobilize his enemy with sticky goo; Lia's movement is already very slow and he uses only melee attacks. I don't think Snorc could defeat him, but I think he could take him completely out of commission with minimal effort, and then Snorc and Armor Mans would be fighting 2v1 against Pepper and would win handily. Once Pepper is down, the two of them can just shoot acid and missiles and lasers at Lia for thirty minutes into she finally goes down. So I vote for ARMOR MANS & Snorc.

Match 2: Questa can get Meerla in a headlock ridiculously easily! I also think Questa's power gives her an edge at escaping from Zurgg's portals; even if she gets tossed into one, she can reach back through it. Vorgg doesn't really have any way to combat Zurgg's portals, and the portals are a great way to escape his fire breath, but on the other hand, Vorgg's armor should protect him from Zurgg's claws, and Vorgg was sent to the tournament specifically to hunt down Zurgg so it seems to me that he must be someone his company believes can defeat Zurgg in battle. So I vote for Vorgg & Questa.

Match 3: Unfortunately I think a giant net that serves as the mouth of an eldritch beast is probably a perfect way to catch Rollout. She will vanish into the net and become the creature's meal. Alternately, if she attacks Goatseman, she would rollerskate towards him, skate right into his massive anus, and never be seen again. On the other hand, Lee is rugged and outdoorsy and doesn't give a shit about being sprayed with shit, so he will beat the hell out of Goatseman. But then Lee will jump at Bety, and that will be the end of Lee. If Lee and Rollout could coordinate their attacks on Bety, one of them would be able to survive and reach her while the other is being scooped up, but that would require them both surviving until Goatseman was dealt with, and I don't think that would happen; I think Rollout would get consumed by one opponent or the other really quickly. So I vote for Bety & Goatseman.

Match 4: I'm more than a little confused about what Dimae actually... is. She appears to be a severed torso who uses telekinesis to control her weapons, I guess? Iris's pressure points aren't going to work in this battle, but electrical shocks should work just fine. And in the fight Wolf vs. Housecat: Wolf wins. Dinae's powers give her an edge over Usano, but I feel like lightning zaps are a pretty good counter to telekinesis. And since both Usano and Iris are unarmed fighters, Dimae wouldn't be able to disarm them with telekinesis. This is a hard match to imagine any clear outcome to, but I'm going to vote for Usano & Iris.

Match 5: EXO will of course be worse than useless in this fight, and will start fighting for Rosey's team. As for Mimic, copying Rosey's power is not going to help win the battle. If Mimic becomes half as charming as Rosey, that's not going to get half the girls, or even a third of the girls. It's going to get none of the girls. However, it's probably worth doing and saving to use in the next battle. On the other hand, becoming 1/4 shark would be pretty badass. Not badass enough to win, but he would probably get to eat four or five of the girls before he went down. It's a shame EXO is female, because her skin hardening vs. each enemy would be pretty fantastic against a hundred really weak enemies. Unfortunately, she won't get a chance to use it. So anyway, obviously I vote for my own group, Shades and Rosey.

Here is a shorter summary of my thoughts, as I can remember them...

MATCH 1: I was torn on this one, until I read LockeZ's thoughts. It makes too much sense. Vote for Team ARMOR MANS

MATCH 2: Again, LockeZ makes sense. Vote Team Questa

MATCH 3: Goatse man and Bety's powers are no match for the speed and leaping attack of Rollout and Lee. Vote Team Rollout

MATCH 4: Feral form will win this one. Vote Team Usano

MATCH 5: I have no idea really... I think Shades tips the balance, though. Vote Team Rosey

Also, I don't think we have enough participants to recuse ourselves from voting for matches in which we have a battler we designed! There aren't enough teams for this!

The OP doesn't say you can't vote for yourself, and encourages you to explain what strategy your own guys would use. Which I think is great; even if not everyone explains how they think the fights will go, I think the participants should explain their own strategies.

I actually voted against the person who adopted my second character, though.

If more people show up and vote, then we'll have more voters! This event could be on the front page, maybe?

If I can vote for my matches, I'll go ahead and Vote for Vorgg and Questa, and Usano and Iris.

More important than the round robin, I was honestly not expecting the matches to be 2v2. I was expecting them to be 1v1.

Looking, the original description of Rosey's powers does say that using it on his opponent will cause him to temporarily lose his fangirls. So, I guess if he enthralls EXO, Mimic would be able to get half of the fangirls, and the rest would leave the fight? That seems fair.

Having five 2v2 matches at once is kind of extremely overwhelming. It took me an hour and a half just to think through and write out my votes. People's votes can and should change as other people suggest alternate battle strategies and they then argue about which strategy is more likely to win, but with five matches at a time that's just not going to happen. I'd really recommend doing one at a time for the rest of the tournament so that we can actually get in detailed arguments about how the fights will go, which is way more interesting than just voting.

Yeah, if we have to round robin 11 times, I'd much rather vote for all the matches at once.
