The reason it doesn't make sense is why it could be a great move. That could just be my inexperience speaking, though. Anyway, CAVE´s post is an eye-opener. I now see it's foolish to trust anyone based on role claim, making you less suspicious.

I put this in the OP but I am just going to say it here as well.
HINTS MAY OR MAY NOT BE IN THE FLAVOR. META YOURSELF TO AN EARLY GRAVE OR GREAT VICTORY AT YOUR OWN RISK.
Just a moment ago that comment didn't say great victory but only early grave... Maybe one of the 4 main characters really is mafia...
I know this is going to raise even more suspicions against me... but it's worth thinking about anyway...

Even if Cave is crazy enough to do this, chances are so low that only mafia or doomed people can use it as a reason to draw attention at someone else. I wanted to vote for Jeroen instantly because of this, but you believed in it too, and only one of you can be mafia. So I'm still thinking about my vote.
Why not? If the creator was creative enoughor if he's Cave, it may be possible.

But good guys might be bad too! flavor does not equal alignment!
Hints may or may not be hidden in the flavor. If you try to break the game with meta things may go poorly for you.
See it's right here on the front page. It's very possible. I'm not saying it's true, just possible. Of course I said it because I was doomed. Does that make it any less valid? I think not. I'm just sharing all options before being brutally killed by all my fellow heroes.

It's really, really unlikely. I don't think even Guy is a possible villain here.
Even Guy? In what way was Guy more scummy than Firion in FF2? All heroes were pure of heart. Also, if you think Guy isn't a villain, why lynch me? I have stated I'm Guy, and everyone else has stated not to be Guy, even ivory.

What do you mean by no one suspecting me of anything? WE are being suspected, that is, me, you and MrChearlie, and the only ones who are out of the spotlight now is Zeuzio, then MirrorMasq.
And that's kinda ironic, wasn't I the one who voted for itrombe first? Unless I'm mistaken. But I am not Guy. Claim him however you want.
I just find it odd for someone to suspect me now. If it was before, okay then, but it'd be ridiculous to make a bandwagon out of me now when chana's role was revealed. Isn't that more likely to have proven my innocence?

Can someone please tell me a summary of how the characters were in the game? If it's not too much trouble.

Well, the characters don't have too much background to them.
If I remember correctly, Firion, Maria and Leon were all brought up in Finn. Leon is Maria's brother. Guy was (this isn't in the game but in some sort of official book or something) abandoned as a baby and raised by monsters, making him able to speak their language. Guy was later found by Firion's family, who took him in and raised him. He therefore doesn't speak the human language all too well. Firion is Guy's best friend (not sure if it's the other way around too) When Finn gets destroyed, the 4 heroes run away, but are slain by dark knights. Leon then becomes a dark knight and sides with emperor Mateus for more than half the game, after which, when Mateus is resurrected from death, he comes back in your team to finish the emperor. Firion, Guy and Maria are pure of heart, but Leon could be seen as suspicious at least.

Ok, I think it is time for me to decide. I don't think that heroes are villains here, and it's a high chance that Jeroen is a Guy (there should be a Guy in this game, and no one counter-claimed him). So I'm gonna trust in his innocence for now. But not fully, because I still have this bad feeling about him. Something isn't right.
Zeuzio has taken Jeroens role from yesterday, no one is following him. And he become very quiet. But this is not enough for actions against him. At least yet. I still suspect ivory, but she's more and more townie for me with every her post.

Gordon is a wimpy prince. He's Scott's brother, and doesn't believe in his strengths. He joins you to find the Egil torch or something and stays with you for a while after which he leaves. He isn't evil or anything, far from. Ricard is a noble dragoon. All dragoons and wyverns have been killed by the empire, and he's the only dragoon left. You find a wyvern egg at some point, and use the wyvern to go to the cyclone where the emperor is (Or was that Leon the dark knight?). Anyway, Ricard dies by the hands of the emperor when he is resurrected, after which Leon rejoins your team. Ricard isn't evil either, as he sacrifices himself so the team can escape the emperor's wrath.
