THE THINGS THAT MAKE ME HAPPY, I HOPE THEY MAKE OTHERS HAPPY ALSO."

A couple months ago I decided that I wanted to draw a picture that I could associate each year of my life with - well, more of a specific event in each year that has made some kind of impact on me. I decided to do it in images because I wanted to convey what was going on in my mind's eye at the time, and I wanted to challenge myself because well, I haven't had much practice as an artist so I'm not very good.
So here we have it...

I think everything came out okay overall. I uploaded a PDF with all the images, and descriptions at the side that would lend gravity to each drawing. I really felt like I put myself into this project, and I hope those who take a look at it get something out of it at the end.

This is nice. I love the metaphor on the wolf.

I think he pay for a tattoo.
That was really sweet and interesting. Thanks for sharing such an intimate part of yourself. It'd be nice if you continued the project into the future and would be great to show to your future children/grandchildren/family.
I was thinking of continuing the project in parts, yes :) Like every 5 or 10 years I would add to it, once all the memories ferment properly!
I enjoyed this, but the jackass aspect of my personality wants to ask where the "Tried to write a novel from the perspective of a black woman..." slide was.
I really liked this, but forgot to mention so after I read it. I think more people should do something like this! It's nice reading about other people and their lives.
