RM2K3-WELL, THIS PATCH MAY BE A PROBLEM

Um...problem...obviously, or else I wouldn't post here. First I'll explain what I did, then tell the problem. This patch was actually made so people can make their own title screens, or start the game immediately without one. I forgot what it's called, but it has one tiny detail that I didn't realize til' now.
You can't save and load files...
I have looked through the commands and I have seen a command to save, but never a command to load games. And since I no longer have a title screen, this is going to be a problem. I don't know how to reset the game back to having a title screen, without the problem of having to redo everything I had to do to get the files into the program, and get them working. It will take too long, and I don't feel like having to redo every sprite, animation, and song that I've put in this game. Should I leave it as it is, is there a way to load games without a title screen, or am I doomed to redo everything in my game?
I don't know what to do...:(
Please help...

You know, instead of just adding patches to your projects blindly, it wouldn't hurt to actually read the readme texts that come with them, or instructions given elsewhere.
I've got a feeling it's the baep patch you've gotten, in which case you can call on the load screen by setting the variable 3350 to 1 and then call "end event processing", or set the variable to 2 and call "end event processing" to quit the game.

Don't patch the only copy of your game. Make a second copy to patch and test the result derr
Sorry...

I read the readme texts, but only to get the patch on it...sorry.
Thanks, I'll try it soon!
Try installing DynRPG to your project. The readme file for that says it removes all hacks and patches as it installs itself.

Don't worry, I think my game is good now. Since I know how to get the load state thing to work now, I find it more interesting than the normal title screen.
If it DOES become a problem though, I will install DynRPG. O.K.?

This is the official BetterAEP download which includes a demo project which shows how to use it (it implements a very simple custom title screen).

author=CherrySo...the version I got wasn't official? Because it has a demo with no title screen, not even a custom one...and I did get it from your site...

Edit:Thanks anyway!
I'll try it soon.

Well, the custom title screen is just a "Show Choice" dialog in this demo, to keep things simple...
Oh...well then my title screen isn't that interesting...the only thing that would probably be different is a sprite on a black background and a dark text box...well...
Well you can design your title screen the way you want. You would probably use pictures. The "Show Choice" title screen is, as said, just a demo.

Well, I kind of like it the way it is. No reason to go into full detail, and I tried the picture thing, it didn't work.
What do you mean, "It didn't work"?
Apart from that - if you like the default title screen as it is, why did you want to use the patch in the first place? O_o

Oh, when I said that, I meant I like the title screen I created, the way it is.
Also, the picture was too big and my idea for the character being the cursor in that bit, didn't work too well.

Oh sorry, misunderstanding then.
Sorry...anyways, do you know how I can fix the picture size bit?
I do not understand what "pictures size" problem you have...
Your RPG Maker screen has a resolution of 320x240, just as a hint.
