Hi guys! This is my first post here. :D
Me and my team are currently in progress of making Cold Infinity, an RPG that's a little different from others, but has many similarities among a few other RPGS. My team, for now, is made up of me, my coder, my composer and my spriter. :P
Here are some details about the plot. The idea is still very new, so an actual summary hasn't been cranked out yet. n.n;
The Main Idea
There's a king. One of his sons betrays him and is banished to a far off place. He seeks revenge after years of preparing an army. The player can choose either to be ‘good’ and side with the King, or be ‘bad’ and side with the exiled prince.
The Main Characters
Estelle is one of the King’s knights who was also the Prince’s bodyguard. The rest, she meets with along the way of her chosen path.
Louella is an elf who was out-casted from her clan because she had murdered the Chief’s son. She plays as the main antagonist for a while.
Darrell is a young Lord whose father exiled from the land for “being an embarrassment to the family name”. He was given a fairly large sum of money of which he quickly spent in his dilly-dallying. He meets the gang as a thief.
Trent is a former executioner who quit the job when the work got to be too much for him. He spends his days in the bar, trying to forget his time working the job. The party encounters him as a witness for where the prince was last seen. He joins the group when they give him a reason to keep going.
Features
*~ 5 tiered classes and 1 all-rounder class
*~ Dynamic Battle System (1)
(1) - Dynamic Battle System: Players gets to choose at the settings screen at the very start of a new game whether to battle in a JRPG-styled turnbased system or something more akin to the 'Tales of' series.
To provide a little preview, here's the concept art for Estelle and Louella! I drew them, but the concept may change. As may the art itself. `-`;

FEATURES YET TO BE IMPLEMENTED (we're thinking about it, give us your opinions)
*~ Different sprite/outfits based on class
*~ (this will be updated as ideas come to light)

...Nice to know Trent quit his job and didn't get axed!(sorry)
The game sounds like it could have some interesting character interactions and plot twists, and I am digging the style. I don't think you are supposed to advertise games here on the forums though; people usually make their own pages on the site for their games.

Stopped reading there.
Towns and villages are not features.
That said, make a gamepage. Advertising on the forums aren't allowed unless your game is commercial, and only then in the Video Games area.
To make a game page hover over the Submissions title in the top black bar. A drop down will appear. Choose 'Submit Game' and fill in the categories. Make sure to acquaint yourself with these rules before-hand.

LockeZ
I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

If you are looking to have a discussion about advice and ideas for designing your game, though, that is allowed in this forum. But you need to, like, ask questions, or mention what you're having trouble with, or whatever.
My own advice: it doesn't sound like you have any gameplay planned at all. Come up with some key engaging gameplay concepts, and design the game around those. Having an engaging story is good, but if that's all you've got going for you and everything else is just generic uninteresting NES-level RPG mechanics, people will quickly get bored and quit playing.

Ah, okay! Sorry! But the game isn't really developed enough to get the screenshots required to make a gamepage. Still making the sprites and everything. And yeah, this game is going commercial.

Ah, I see.... Alright, I'll work on it. I've only finished the script for the prologue and first chapter so there's still a lot of work to be had. n.n
Thank you all for the feedback! :D
Currently, an idea I'm not sure I want to implement is... different sprites and outfits displayed when talking and in the menu depending on your class! For the sake of example, let's say a player made Darrell something within the Vanguard tier. He would have more armor on him as opposed to him being in the, say, Cleric tier. A Cleric tier outfit would feature heavy robes than heavy armor.
What do you guys think of this idea?
