In the Class Tab you can select Front/Middle/Back position for
party members. How does this affect them? I've done test battles
and haven't seen any difference in damage inflicted or received.

Supposedly, it affects the frequency of enemy attacks. If you've ever played the original Final Fantasy, party members closer to the top get hit more often. Maybe it's like that.
LockeZ
I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

Pro tip: open the class tab, right-click on the position box, and choose "What's This?"
The exact formula for targetting is this:
- Characters in the middle row are 50% more likely to be targetted than characters in the back row
- Characters in the front row are twice as likely to be targetted as characters in the back row (which makes them 33% more likely than characters in the middle row)
If you wish to change this formula, the random_target_actor function in the Game_Party script is what you need to edit.
