Tru dat. But yeah, I have fond memories of WotM too. Haven't spoken to Magnus in a while though; last time I said hi on AIM it was his girlfriend. :P
If Magnus is still tinkering with any game making programs, you should tell him to drag his ass over to RMN!
Did anyone ever play Super Pokemon Eevee edition? I found it a while ago, and I'm genuinely impressed by it. Not to bag out Rexion's stellar effort, but Eevee Edition really is the most authentic Poekexperience I've seen on RM2K3.
I remember going to several different sites: ManiC, Disaster Bros, GGW... Even Philomortis. Or whatever the spelling is.

I remember once downloading a game about a guy in a sword academy (I think his name was Duane), and he had like a test in front of his peers, where he defeated some monsters. Then he traveled to some forest and there were magical orbs... I don't know. All I recall is that it was in RM2k and it used Battle Animations to simulate a side view combat system; it also had a little text for Critical hits that went like "THERE'S BLOOD!". I've been looking for that game for a long time... if anyone remembers it...

Oh man WoTM, that sure brings back memories. Complete in red and black. Awesome times. (≧▽≦)ノ
I used to just skip around from forum to forum - joining but never doing much. From GGW, GW, rpg2knet, Sky Tower Games and a few others.
I remember fondly a small site called Cedar Woods which got me into actually being a forum member. It was just a forum of close-knit oldbies. Then the site got hacked and went down. They merged with another site and became Epiphany Gaming. A few years later it, too was gone. We had an awesome comic going there at one point, though what I had of it is now lost to computer transfers. I remember one gal had the touch of death, Christophomicus - with his crazy, eat-everything afro - and a few other oddball characters. I was a Spock-like character who pronounced everyone dead. "He's dead Jim!" (Yes, I know, Doctor Bones was the one who used that line, not Spock.)

Also, I remember the sudden appearance of this small game called Clouded Hearts which I still think of as a great game despite it's terrible mapping at the start. And the various Legion Sagas. Also, I remember being in awe of a demo I'd downloaded from Sky Tower Games where you could play two player and fight one another. It used the Secret of Mana chips/characters. Also, that one 3d-esque demo posted on GW. I still have it.

I remember when me and a bunch of other guys from #rm2k added porn sites to GGZ's affiliates list because they had an exploit that allowed anyone to edit it. That was good times. Apparently Wishmoo wanted to murder us. XD
Kanjihack. Ch33s3. TNomad. Asperta. RPG Maker/Tsukuru 2 for the SNES. (RM1 Super Dante or whatever did something weird with its SRM that emulators didn't do right at all and you couldn't save your games except through save states iirc). Hell that is what got me into emulation to begin with, and I only found RPG Maker through a two page article in Nintendo Power. Then RPG Maker 95 came along.... It was a simpler time back then...

And by that I mean no names for switches, no variables, and a hard limit on 100 enemies, items, and skills. Finding Don's forums and 2k was the biggest fucking upgrade ever.
