[2K3][HELP] RANDOM ERROR AT RANDOM TIME

Yeah, this is that one error that I've seen many MANY times throughout the history of this game, and this time makes no sense for me. This was on another tester's game and at the very end of the entire thing (at the beta5 segment that's there in the last fight). Right before it cuts to the fight (or supposed to), it gives this error without going into said fight. I don't understand why as it works perfectly for me (and did for others that tested it as well). So I've no idea what the issue could be :S
I seem to recall that this error involved patching RPG_RT.exe. If Cherry isn't too busy, perhaps he will be able to confirm this.
The error seems to be saying, "I'm looking for this information here and here, and I can't get to it, even though that's what I'm supposed to do."

That's what I recall as well, but I don't see why it would randomly do that NOW when it didn't when I and others have tested it. @_@;;
Welp, according to the same tester, this happens in the same spot and it's the same exact error every time. Could it be because he patched from beta1/beta2 to beta4 and still used the same save file by any chance? I can't think of anything else that would be causing it x_x;;
That must be it. The game is attempting to read something and has been running off of his old beta 1/2 save file, but beta 4 has since switched the information inside around. Somewhere, something inside doesn't match up. It can be something very small, it doesn't matter.
As long as he starts another save file, he should be OK. If he doesn't want to do that, you can probably custom-make him a new game by copying all of the variables and switches he has set and activated to a new file.

Funny thing is, this is right at the very end of the beta, in the extreme last fight before the beta cuts off so...it'd be kinda pointless to do that there now I think...ah well. If it's not that though, and he still gets it after I do all that (which in itself is a lot of bloody work too @_@), then I won't know what the problem is. lol
What's even more bizarre is you'd think this would've happened earlier in the game too since well...beta1/2 is so archaic a lot of stuff was changed between them...hmmm.

I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

My first thought is that something in the game references an item, skill, monster, animation, or something else similar that you since removed. This kind of error can happen if you make an enemy use skill number 600, and then later reduce the max number of skills to 500, for example. Try increasing the max numbers of all these kinds of things, and see if one of them fixes the problem.
What's funny is I pretty much use the max naturally (5000) for each tab and have never changed the max numbers for any of those, so I don't THINK it could be that...I wouldn't think it'd be anyways ._.;
Based on the values shown in the screen, I am pretty sure it is this error: "The game would crash when you removed an actor in battle when this actor was the last to do his turn."
Example:
- 4 actors in party
- 3rd actor in party does his turn
- Event removes 2 actors
- 2 actors in party
- Crash because the game tries to access the now non-existent 3rd actor

Thing is, I am using DynRPG though, and this is before the fight even starts. So I have an event that removes all party members from the party after the 2nd boss fight, and add the party member that you're SUPPOSED to have before the last boss fight. But before the fight starts (it'll do the engage battle sound), it'll just not go into the fight and that error pops up so...
Ok this is strange. I have no idea what's going on, so could you please send me your project (or a project where you isolated the bug), I will then investigate.
Actually, now that I think about it, I remember this happening a long time ago and I sent you that project too when it happened. Dunno what happened to that. I will first try to get his save file since that's where the problem lies (myself and others have gone through this segment perfectly fine so no idea why it's acting up for him). Once I acquire his save file, I'll upload the project with that save file as well.
Again, I remember talking about this with you on here long ago too. Though looking for that topic now would be hard since there's no way to search by topics...except by the topics I've made but @_@
