Could we have a feature which ''stacks'' latest screenshots? Suppose a user decides to upload 8 pictures for his game, instead of flooding the whole front page, he could pick which picture of his stack would go on top (would be visible on the front page) and the rest would be available by clicking the stack?
This would allow more variety of games in the screenshots and just encourage quality of quantity. This example above is pretty silly, the screens all look the same, why upload 8 of them?

Or at least have a way to weed out the ones that are re-uploaded. That'd get rid of at least two of those ones that are doubles. (I can only hope they're the same picture re-uploaded.)

Honestly, I think there should be a function like this even if all 8 shots you are uploading are awesome, unique and different. I'm not comfortable with the idea of having a single person flood all the recent screenshot section, that's the way I feel about it anyway.
I think it's better if there's a variety of different shots from different authors.

I dunno, I think that the "Latest" sections should reflect exactly what's being posted. It's not often someone fills it up and even if they do it won't be that way for too long. There are 8 random screens, so it's not like any one person can take ALL the screenshot space.
It usually moves pretty fast, too. Blogs and screenshots are the fastest moving updates to the site, barring the forum.
Perhaps limit the number of screenshots to be uploaded at the same time? I don't think that the idea of flooding the forum with identical images is going to dawn on Angry_Chocobo anytime soon.

It'd be pissed if I just uploaded a nice screenshot to see it disappear into oblivion because some guy decides to upload 20 screenshots. Anyways, that's just my opinion.
Another idea would be to have the stack of pictures show when you scroll your mouse over the actual stack. I think that's a swell idea.
I hope the admin will consider, I don't see any downfall to picture stacking honestly. Not to much because of the Angry_Chocobo incident but just because it would be a neat feature.

Nevertheless I'm not sure latest images really belong on the front page, I much prefer random images.

I definitely think it's somewhat clumsy them both there right next to each other.
I agree that one person shouldn't be able to monopolize the front page with eight very similar screenshots (or even very different ones, I think.) It seems that, if low-content blogs are a bad thing done by bad people, this should be too.

Disagree. Having two or three images uploaded at the same time on the front page is a good way to gain awareness for your game, and sometimes it gets you a subscriber or two (mostly when in the early stages of development though). Gotta think of the little guys and the newbies here (AND ME, YOU BASTARDS).
I honestly think just remove the random images section and make the pic of the moment the random image, keeping Latest screenshots where it is. Limiting the amount may be a good idea, like 5 at most?

^ I like Random images. I've found quite a few treasures since it's been around. PotM is for when a single image radiates an aura of Epic.
