Okay, while I'm thinking things through I'm going to address a couple things
It's not like we knew he was a cop before we lynched him.
It's a free nightkill but would put us at 6 Townies, 1 Independent and 4 Mafia members. If we're at..5 Townies, 1 Independent and 4 Mafia, and the Indie votes with the Mafia, couldn't that be the end? Although I guess the Indie would have to know who the Mafia were beforehand...hm..
I think info could still be gathered from this nightkill though: the innocence of whoever's killed. We could then analyse voting patterns, perhaps?
I'd be on-board with this plan if there was some sort of guarantee and the Indie wouldn't align themselves with the Mafia somehow, but...there isn't. so I'm just a bit skeptical of everything at the moment.

your plan is stupid because it gives the mafia a free nightkill on the hopes that somehow the stars align and our night actions, which, I don't even know what power roles we have left, either catch scum in the night or figure something out from the nightkill. when we have a cop dead. The chances of this are low already, but you are also assuming that despite is telling the truth about his role. a dubious assumption.

your plan completely ignores the possibility of scum just wifoming and killing randomly, which they will do if we enact this 'plan.' not only this, but we can lynch someone today, giving the town a kill, and figure things out from the next nightkill at the same time. the two are not mutually exclusive

from a balancing standpoint, it wouldn't make sense for there to be three independents. that would make there be eight town players against seven not town.

then there would probably be 4 town 2 independents 4 mafia.

However, he is stating that this is true for whichever hypothetical independent is living at that point BECAUSE he would not know which independent, if there were multiples, would live to the 5 1 4 scenario. ergo, none of the independents, if any are left, can joint with the mafia. so we have nothing to worry about on that front.

i already told you that this completely ignores the possibility of scum wifoming which they will do if you just brazenly suggest we don't lynch to analyze the night kill. scum will not care who they kill because the kill is 'free' to them cop is dead. as for your guarantee: the mod said it wouldn't happen.

By "wifoming" do you mean killing at random? What I mean is that the innocence of whoever's killed could help determine what exactly's going on. Although thinking about it now, that's a bit weak.

I'd really like others to play a part in this game too...it's a bit unnerving being the centre of attention like this (and thus prone to mistakes) :(

Oh, I can't help but be a bit surprised that I haven't been voted for today, but I'll let that pass for now.
I have a feeling I'll die tonight, so I might as well put this out there: If Adon turns up innocent, Jeroen needs to be lynched post-haste regardless of whatever superficial reasoning he comes up with. Maybe CAVE_DOG after. Gourd is most likely town, and even if he isn't his role isn't very threatening.

These three people are probably all town. If they were mafia, they would probably be active in scum chat, which rabitZ would see (assuming that scumchat is on IRC. Is that still how people are playing around here, or is it usually through PMs now?).
I'm not active during the middle of the (North American) day, but reading up on things in the evenings.

I'll vote for Adon237 if I have to to avoid a no lynch, but I'm not completely convinced he's mafia. I'm also only going off of this game for reading things though, because the last game of Mafia I played here was two years ago, so I don't really recognize the playing styles of anyone.

Good to hear from you. this post sounds sincere to me. Scumchats these days are conducted on quicktopic. I disagree with your reads on those three...wait....you said that you yourself are "probably" town?
it doesn't matter if you're not sure on adon at this point. you can reread this garbage later. Right now, we are very close to not lynching, which is the last thing town wants. Please put a vote on adon.
Also, ivory, knowing the deadline was up, you place a vote on GOG to "get him to talk" which is weird because that strategy of yours has literally never worked at all because it's so transparent, and then switch to Gourd Clae, and then leave? Seriously????
