I will admit this setup required a team of very highly focused and determined mafia players. Thing like that have to be considered, after all.
I don't think the game went *that* bad, considering it was my first hosting experience.
you should not balance your game around the players in it. that scumteam could have won had they actually coordinated as a team. basically it was a collective failure and the setup had nothing to do with it. no townie ever had a night action that benefitted the town and a doctor got modkilled. they lost because they played poorly. and that is the only reason.
i think the only mistake made once the game had started was not modkilling marrend
Well I did not coordinate the game around the who was playing.
I randomly rolled players to roles.
I'm just saying in retrospect that for mafia to have a shot they had to play an aggressive and focused game, I suppose.

You know, randomly selectig players isn't a bad thing, rabitZ. It's actually encouraged to prevent meta arguments like: The host hates that person, so he probably made them an indi!
@rabytZ : Actually, it was a good game and I enjoyed winning as town (it's true it was a long time!), just frustrating to deal with little bits of mafia here and there, but you have nothing to do with that.

Yeah, sorry guys for being quite lurky. This and the doc game were not high points for me considering lurki-ness :/

Well, if you didn't slip up, maybe I wouldn't be such a 'sore loser' then pfft. I had every right to complain too. And no, if someone actually believed my claim, I didn't play poorly then. And I've never had a problem with you adon. It's just initially you were ok with us lynching you then you said something about 'backstabbers' and that part lost me.

adon messing up has nothing to do with you messing up. you did not capitalize on your teammates mistakes. you knew you had two inexperienced scumbuddies, one very young, and a guy who would rather fight muhammad ali in his prime than be scum but you did not adjust your play accordingly. it is also your fault you lost. it does not matter if someone believed your claim if they later lynched you. the immediate blame game that took place when the game ended was rather disgusting. if your teammates are lacking you have to either take control or throw them under the bus. you did neither. scum win and lose as one unit.
as i said, before i think chana did not play optimally but i am more frustrated that i staked my life on a gamble and it didnt work twice. i had little chance of winning but undoubtedly there was a series of actions that would have lead to my victory. i did not take them so this loss is my fault too. the reference to her being a bad doctor was about her protecting you. even if i was it would not be the same as yelling at my teammates for dying like i did. be honest.

lol some people say "fuck you" and some say "go take a hike", different way of phrasing things but basically means the same thing.
I think, I'm going to say an evidence (you're warned), but if each member of a team doesn't respect the others and what they have to offer (because each DOES have something to offer, that you couldn't imagine yourself for the simple reason that you're someone else), but instead treats them like idiots and tries to control all the moves, that team is SURE to lose, if only because the rest of the team will just half quit in disgust.
