Hello everyone!
My name is Luke Wall and I'm a writer/composer/game designer/in-progress artist (mostly of an anime style). There isn't really much I'd like to say other than hope that I can be of use to this community! I'm currently working on my Core Project Dragonstar, but I'd be more than happy to do Logo Designs, Music (both orchestral and modern), and Game Design if you like (my core knowledge is in GameMaker 8.1).
Also, if anyone could refer me to a good place to find platformer/sidescroller sprites for placeholder purposes, that would be great!

Spriter's Resource has a ton of rips from SNES and NES era games. That would probably make for some good placeholder graphics. Also, I have been meaning to learn GameMaker (because I want to make some platformers) but still haven't knuckled down and started. Care to write a few tutorials on how to get started on GM?

And I've checked out SR, and its just hard to filter down to what I want. I'm not super familiar with the NES and SNES games so its hard to determine what I'm looking for (yet I'm trying to make a Platformer). :P
