Well, I got Fruity Loops and it's really and improvement compared with guitar pro. As well as it is better it is a chance to learn more. I have been playing piano for over 10 years (with professor for 3 years so I am not so good as you can suppose reading the numbers.) And I know how to create fragments and how to improvise.

I have already participated on other RMN events just for fun, but thruth is that I got a lot of problems composing a complete and consistent song and more when is about combining more than just piano.

So if you can give me advice of how can I improve, I would appreciate it.

--------------------------------------------------

I don't know yet how to manage many aspects of fruity loops so I start doing what I know (a piano song).

I like the first two fragments but when it get's to the third it becomes more flat and less consistency, also will it be a good idea too add another instrument?

It depends on what you're aiming to make a song for. I think that bits of this could be remixed to make a really nice town theme for a game!

You could cut the signature bits of the song like 0:00-0:14 and 0:15-0:31 using FL and mix them into a cohesive verse and chorus (and possibly a second chorus), then just repeat them in the order you think sounds nicest. Maybe split the melody from the chords and give them different instruments (but piano is nice alone, if you'd rather). Or you could add another instrument for some harmony on the melody? That'd sound super nice.

There are a few off-sounding notes that I'd tidy up too, but those can just be dragged onto the note you want it to be using the piano roll editor.
Basically what Caz said + I can't say I picture a Quiet Sea when I listen to it, but the first few notes remind me a lot of the Besaid Island theme in FFX-2.
I think the lower notes are too strong. You could try to reduce their volume and see.
Also I think that it would sound nicer with cleaner notes and less reverb.
Overall it's quite lovely.
Thanks :) I have been trying to do what have you told me. I haven't done much progress, pretty much I have been experimenting on my free time, So this is what I got so far.

Well, I had never played FFX-2 (and people tell me is the worst FF) so I never heard that song, I listened to it after you told me and it was really what I was aiming, More like and calm beach town with a jazzy feeling, so somehow I am glad I had done something right with the first few notes at least :9

Thanks, that's was actually what I aimed this time, I take out one part and add another part in the middle since 0:15-0:31 it's like the most uplifting part of the song and it is also the most conclusive. is a 55s loop but I don't see it as a song that you would get tired after a lot times since it's pretty pretty ambiental.

I add a drumkit of cymbals since they are very jazzy and one of my favorite parts of jazz, I might repair some details, I wanted to add bongos and caribbean percussion like Besaid Island but I don't have any voice and I still lost when is about to find packs on the internet so for now I am only using what FL gives me.

I am agree with the lower notes, I tried but the intensity in FL is like gettin the volume down istead of decreasing the intensity so it sounds weird when it is mixed with the melody but I keep trying to work on that, as for the reverb, I don't know but I pretty like that.

And thanks for your support

That was a huge improvement! It flows a lot more nicely now, and feels more like a properly strung together song.

The percussion is a nice addition, but the beat feels a little off. I really like the cymbals though, and I think you should keep them in. Maybe try a very simple beat of one clash per bar?
Welp, I bought a new piano, It finally can be connected to the computer so that is a huge help since I hate to draw notes on fruity loops or in sheets. And I am ready to start composing as much as I can.

This video was supposed to be a audio test, since I record it in fruity loops and wanted to remove the original audio of the camera so I could get rid of the noise. but I was late for work and with me being so distracted I didn't save the fl file. So I upload the video just as it was recorded, it help me since I didn't knew how much of struggle was tgo upload a HD video so I had to make the quality lower. I hope you like it, it is just improvisation.
