Lol, gave it to the ps1, since it's what started me out in the world of gaming, and a ton of epic games that I find are better than heaps of ones from this generation, existed only on that console. (Also, just throwing this out there, but I'm anti-Wii U..there's literally nothing about that console that interests me.)

The kid in me wants to say SNES, but the PS1 was pretty much the king of gaming and it introduced us to a ridiculous amount of classic characters and franchises.

Neither are handhelds.
The SNES mainly because I still have mine and break it out more often than my PS1 or PS2, even though I have more games for them. (I have a total of 5 games on my SNES - Terranigma, Breath of Fire II, Lufia II, Legend of Zelda and Super Mario All-Stars - compared to my other console games. I have more games for my Classic Gameboy... and I don't even have a working one any more!)
PC supremacy 4 lyfe. It has:
- The most games. There's been games made for it since before the NES existed. It also incorporated the games of other platforms into itself through emulation.
- Moddability. Take those games the PC can play and apply mods or patches which can improve or drastically change them. Sure the NES has the original six Mega Man games but it doesn't have Rockman No Constancy, Wily's Dream Machine, or Rock Man 4 Infinity unless you get a writable NES cart and write the game to it.
- Keyboard and mouse. Twin stick shooting sucks. In fact being able to use any controller on the PC and wire it into any game. Nowadays I play NES and SNES games with a PS3 controller because it is more comfortable to use and wireless. Adapters may be necessary though which costs more $$$.
- Looks the best. None of this pseudo 1080 resolution by upscaling 720 output, you tell it to output at native res and it'll do it (including higher resolutions like 2560x1440). You can change the graphic quality in most games too in the options settings to try and reduce lag or make it look better if your hardware can handle it. Also turn off shitty bloom filters. Hell, between playing the three Warriors Orochi games on PC, PS2, and PS3 respectively the one with the least amount of pop-in enemies was, of course, Warriors Orochi 1 which I played on PC.

I know right? I hate playing FPS games on a console too, unless it's something like Doom where you don't even have to aim.
Also, I hate emulation these days. It's for the poor and hoboish.
I can't really edit the poll anymore, so no PC or Xbox option unless an admin magically edits it.

I feel nerdy...
but I don't like blood and gore, so it suits my needs.
I also have 2 Gamecubes, 3 DSs, a 3-DS, a WII, a PC (with emulators for SNES, N64, GB Color, GBA), a SNES, and a N64. As you can see I'm a NINTENDO fan. It fits above criteria. And yes, I have emulators and the actual consoles for SNES and N64 (and the Visual Boy Advance).
I believe Emulators are good to have. I use them to play games that are outdated. Otherwise there funness is wasted.

It's a computer. NEITHER IS CALCULATOR A CONSOLE BUT SEXUAL INTERCOURSE WITH LOGIC BECAUSE IT'S TOO AWESOME.
