Hello! i hope to be very active here as i have a lot of questions and a lot to learn.

I'm Cerberus, or Cerb for short i guess. I had RPGM for the PS2 a looong time ago, and never got to really learn and play around with it. A friend of mine introduced me to this site, so if i can confirm a few things i might want to pick up the new RPGM and create a new game.

Hello, new CerberusIII! I'm a little curious as to what you have to confirm.
....whether or not we are all just ghosts and/or bots. Welcome to RMN! Enjoy your stay!
LockeZ
I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

Hi Cerberus, welcome and have a good time here!
hello everyone! and thank you for the warm welcome!

what i wanted to confirm was a few things, first i have yet to buy the new RPGM VX ace, and i was wondering how versatile the combat system is on this software. For the game i have in mind to make, involves 2 completely different kinds of combat system, a typical rpg turn base, and a intricate turn base/speed based vehicle battle with a yet simple rock-paper-sissor weapon system. in the old PS2 version of RPGM the battle system wasn't that customizable, so i was wondering how much am i able to work with here. if i hash out 70$ of VX ace, am i gonna be able to do what i hope to eventually do? or am i gonna have to take up a career in game programming and hope for the best? XD
Forgot the ps2/ps1/snes/GBA/DS/other consoles version of RPGMaker.

Rpgmaker on PC is a complete different world. Another program at all.

Welcome to RMN!
yeah i assumed as much tat it'd be different, it seems like you can "create" to a certain extent different kinds of battle systems, so i was hoping I can accomplish what i want it to.
With time and the right knowledge you'll accomplish all you'll need.
