RMVX - Change Background Image during the game? Topic

Is there a way to change the background image of a map during the game in RMVX? Because I have a day and night system and during the day the backgroudns are fine but during the nght i would like to have a different background. so my question is: is this possible and if so, how?

By Background what, exactly, do you mean? Do you mean the map tiles themselves? The Battle Background during battle? A parallax background?

i mean the parallax background of the maps. you know, like mountains or clouds or something.

You'll need a script to do so since for some reason they got rid of the command that used to be built into the eventing section. (What idiot decided to do that?!)
