So... I bought a notebook, finally, thanks to DeviantArt commissions Q_Q
It's very old and it's running Windows Xp, but surprisingly enough it runs RpgMakerVx pretty smoothly... Wich means nothing for me because yeah, rm2k3.
Anyways, just want to say hi there, for good this time. Q_Q
If my mother DARES touching my notebook (much less throwing it on the floor like she did with my last computer -- 4 years ago)
She'll wake up and find herself tied. q_q
Wich means that no, no more HEY, HELLO THERE I'M BACK *disappears the day after*
I missed RMN a whole lot, things must've changed with the coming of VXace, I see so many new, crazy games sprouting... Q_Q
Sadly, some of my favorite makers are seemingly inactive for a few months... >:

EDIT: Yeah... Just now I noticed, everyone seems to be all around OH GOD HOW MUCH VX ACE IS AWESOME AND 2K3 IS CRAP

I thought 2k3 was descent. I saw my friend use it way back, and it was pretty awesome. But I guess people really like vx because it allows more customization or something. No idea, did I mention I am new~ish? anyways, welcome back I suppose.

In fact 2k3 is lame in comparison to the newer ones... VX ace especially seems so awesomely full of extras and empty of bugs that - oh my god!
But that RTP, mapping system, everything... I'm still not ready to let go of my precious Rpg Maker 2003 ;~;

Welcome to the forums and don't worry. I think there are still enough Rm2k3 users over here (me included).
To sum it up: I want to create something that is truly mine. XP and VX would give me enough reason to just add some scripts to my game. I keep those high resolution makers for a future project and just finish my rip graphic based game on rm2k3 =).

Nevermind, most of them was just me being clumsy. (I.E they've shown up already)
Except for Ocean ;~;

Yeah, I'll also leave higher resolution for when I have things settled up for a more definite project. Right now I want to fiddle around with 2k3 (because it's easy to make graphics for it and it's light) until I settle down ;~; <3
We aren't brute 2k3 haters (except for Craze), but yeah, the paradigm shift to VX Ace Preferrers has happened.

We're actually a lot more accepting of and pro-RM2K(3) compared to the other/newer RM communities around. Yeah, we like RMVXA, but we don't forget that RM2K(3) deserves love too (and Enterbrain is still selling RM2K Value! over in Japan which I intend on buying some time soon). (￣▽￣)ノ
