I had an idea. What if not only we could follow threads and subscribe to games, we could also follow users? Now, I know this sounds like Facebook but not, really. This is not meant to notify us of user comments, but instead to notify us of Game Page submissions, Blog submissions, Media sumissions, etc.
This is useful for when, for example, you really like the works of an user, but for some reason you can't see when him/her uploads more work. (Maybe you are too absent, or the person stopped posting a long time ago and you want to be notified when him/her returns).

That'd be beast, to tell the truth. I hate looking at people's profiles and thinking "HEY, HE RELEASED 3 MORE GAMES AND I DIDN'T KNOW?!"

I think it's under consideration.

- User Resource subscription. Not really vital, but it would be nice to be able to receive notifications when people upload their resources like scripts, articles, tutorials etc.
-- SUBSCRIBE TO USER
-- would be part of a revamp to subscribe to more things; generalized notices
-- I have been mulling on how to generalize the subscription system here at RMN. Right now you can sub to games, and events (I think) and now threads,but adding the ability to sub to users and engines is under consideration.
