"GAME GOT DENIED" NEED BETTER UNDERSTANDING OF WHY AND EXPLAIN SOMETHINGS TO ME
Posts
I wouldn't take the game denial to heart youngmreezy155. I'm sure everyone (or the vast majority) have had their game denied in the past. It's especially common when you're first starting out on rmn and rpgmaking in general, think of it more as a test to take criticism and adapting your work based on feedback. Which you'll be dealing with day in and day out whenever your game is finally approved.

Don't accept this until he fixes the script glitch for the knife.
Graphics are one thing, technical issues are much bigger.
Deny a profile for an unfinished game because it has a bug? Then we'd never get anything posted on here.

I could've. But when he said "I'll just tell people not to use the knife (without fixing it) because it usually misses (lying about the actual issue)" that was what pissed me off. In general, you should extend hospitality to people here, not go, "oh, your game sucks." But when a person has a bad attitude, and refuses to own up to problems in the game, it's time to call them on it.
There are tons of worse things I could've said.
I grew up with people using politeness as a type of dishonesty, and found out what some people felt about me only years later, because they were too polite to tell me. Honesty is the best policy. Hospitality is the second best.
So uncalled for. And you misunderstood @Travio actually helped me fix it (it's fixed! doesn't crash) that's when i said in the game i will not recommend people to use it since it rarely hits so...

The sprites for Ryan, and RE2's black (eventual)zombie cop, could use some work. Some people when spriting, forget to include a major detail, and that's shading. Basically all this is, is just taking the color already on their sprites, and making it slightly darker/lighter in some areas. The pink haired woman is pretty well done though, so kudos, hehe. :)
Next would be the graphical clashes..there're quite a bit of 'em, but I'll point out the major ones(imo). First would be the large Tyrant shaped sprite..of course Tyrant is usually big of course, but his skin is mostly made up of simply one color, and so it collides pretty badly with just about everything else. Brings me back to my shading point on that one.
Second would be the mix of RE3 pre-renders that are pretty badly placed, like for the outside of the police station(which is very empty as opposed to the actual RE3 shot.), as they're close to a sprite of a police car..which honestly, appears quite bad. You can improve on that by taking the RE3 rips out completely, and putting some large fences/barricades which you should be able to find tiles for if ya browse through google a bit. The police car, along with the station gate could use shading as well, but overall not that bad, except it's resting beside more ripped tiles. For that map, I suggest making it seem more, idk destroyed? Like how it was in RE3; blood all over the cars, the cars themselves completely wrecked, glass all around the gate, traffic cones toppled over, ya know..stuff like that.
The menu itself is rather nice, except for the sprite of Ryan being used where a faceset/portrait should go. Try finding a picture that looks close enough to him, then cut it down to 96x96, and use that instead of his sprite.
Now for the zombies, they should be the same size as the Mack-styled ones, yet with how they appear in the screenie, they seem almost like they're children sized or something. Now, I'm not sure if there are a lot of good looking zombie sprites, but it seems a tad wierd. Also, those two greenish zombies need to be replaced, as they clash with the others.
Hmm..think that's about, idk all in all I like the menu, and the hud, just that a lot of other parts need some work. Look up some tutorials for mapping which are all around this site, youtube, and many other rpg maker sites, as well as other Resident Evil based projects, and use what you see to help guide you along. ^o^
I used this japanese site called loose leaf i think? Made the character then fixed the clothes and skin color with paint so i don't know lol. As far as ripping goes i kind of doubt anyone would rip something i need straight from re2 or 3 since there doesn't seem to be a big fan base on here for re games and i have no idea how the ripping process goes (could do it myself i own re3 on pc). Outside the rpd doesn't look junky because its kind of before the whole outbreak you know? Only added the barricade to point out (this is the rpd). As far as zombies yes those are children ;) i might recolor them to where a arm maybe is cut off more blood no eyes and stuff i got all my enemy sprites from this compmike19 website i will try and see if someone could make or remake some of the enemies i have chosen.
I could possibly draw Ryan's face myself since this originally supposed to be a manga i wanted to make...
I wasn't attacking him, I was pointing out why the mods could have possibly denied his game. Also, that arrogant attitude was really annoying, but at least he apologized. Now that I saw his screenshots, while not too terrible, do have a lot of empty spaces. Also, the main character 's sprite is bigger than those "zombies".
Like Solitayre said, if his game description was the like the first post, it makes sense why he was denied. And bad luck for him to be judged by Solitayre. XD
Lastly, there is an edit button that you can use. :P
