Not sure if the offer is still on, but in the past week, Steam had RPG Maker VX Ace reduced to £24.99, half price. It's caused me to actually pick it up. I was quite surprised though, because whilst there was an English language version released in the US, RPG Maker's website has always quote prices in USD, this is the first time I've noticed it being officially sold in the UK.

I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

I will note that I bought the Steam version of VX Ace a while back when it was on sale, and am continually annoyed that every time I start VX Ace, it takes a minute and a half to start up Steam first. You can't run it standalone, even if you open the .exe file directly from the program directory.

If you leave Steam running in the background on your computer all the time anyway, this is no big deal, though.

Yeah, have a bad habit of constantly being logged into Steam and Skype, so it doesn't really impact me.
