CIVILIZATION 4 + WARLORDS

Just to find out, how many folks here own Civ 4? Or better yet, own Civ 4 plus the Warlords expansion?

It'd be fun to set up some regular games over the summer, maybe a giant Civ 4 game between four or more members.

I only started playing Civ with Civ 3 plus its two expansions, and I loved it. Civ 4 is great because it addresses multiplayer problems like players spamming cities across the continent... although you no longer get to build a palace :(.

Anyways, talk about C4 and earlier Civ games, let's try to set up some friendly games. Also if your name is Ankylo or Gadreel and you want to come in here bragging about how much better Civ 1 or 2 was, I will... do something terrible. Just watch..

I am 10000000000000000% in favor of a giant Civ4 game. If we put some really, really minor stipulations on it, like "the point of the game is not to wipe the other human players out in 5 minutes, thus ruining any chance that the game will actually develop" then it'll be a total blast. Could last a long time too.
I played Civ 4 and while it was fun and well developed, it just felt like I was wasting my time a bit too much. Not to mention the whole expanding part just kinda got complicated to the point where I couldn't keep track of all of my towns and cities.

I however wouldn't mind playing some short games with the community around here. But I'll probably have to pirate the game or something because I borrowed Civ4 from a friend.
I own Civ III and Civ IV.

I found Civ IV a little overwhelming - so much was happening so often that I wasn't really sure if I was actually controlling my civilization or just letting the AI play against itself.

I've never played a multiplayer of it, though.
I have COMPLETELY LEGAL copies of both. For a given value of "completely" and "legal."

I enjoy Civ 4, but I really suck at it. I still don't know how to wage an effective military campaign, even in the lower difficulties.
