LockeZ
I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

Everybody mixes and matches tilesets. Fact is, there isn't any single tileset series that suits all the needs we could come up with. You may need to do some recoloring or slight editing to make one or two items fit.

This probably applies to music too. Except most of us, including me, don't have any idea how to edit music at all, much less how to make it fit the scenario in the game better. So instead I have a tendency to find music that fits the scene, but doesnt match the rest of the game.
Thanks Amerk, I'll look into it.
I noticed http://www.hmix.net/ has a similar style, so I think I'll use some from there as well.

As for the sprites, I was considering Usui's sprites to be used with Victor's animated Battle but realised that the face and the sprites themselves would not look right side by side with RTP edits (found from sites like Closet, leisurely, mint chocolate tree, and WhereHere). I probably will just have all the sprites in the Victor's battle script be RTP edits.
Another idea for theming is to use the same musical track at contrasting scenes in the game to elicit a different interpretation of the theme the second time around. Although finding the right track for this might be difficult or might require a slight remixing to make it sound just right the second/latter times it is played.

Also, in general, just repeating the same song at the appropriate times can help develop theming.
