QUESTION ABOUT FINDING A CERTAIN RPG MAKER GAME

CloseHi all I was on youtube and stumbled across this odd funny rpg maker 2000 game but It's all in japanese but is easily playable , it's based on resident evil but with anime characters ( cant remember the anime).

Well, after waltzing around on the internet, I found that it's called Doraemon: Nobita no Biohazard (either that or Nobi Haza), and all I found in terms of a direct download was here.

Granted, the download link is now invalid, but I'll continue searching after I run some errands. Until I get back, just try using Google to search for "Doraemon Nobita no Biohazard", "Nobi Haza" and "RPG Tsukūru" (perhaps with 2000). You may need to use Google Translate to get a small idea on where you're heading and hover your cursor over links likely to send you to a download page.
Of course, I'd only recommend this if you've got an antivirus program running as I've already stumbled across what appeared to be a hentai site.

I did google translate but I am still having trouble finding any download link , did you actually find the link ?

Translate that. This might be it. The wiki said to find the download from the works section. This is the called the "Nobi haza" game.
thanks for the link but unfortunately the game doesn't seem to work , must be because of the Japanese letters.

Check with the Wiki. There could be extra resources. On the left sidebar, check the "works" tab. That's where all of the resources seem to be located.
still can't get it to work :( can anyone else try and get it to work ?
such a shame looks like a lot of fun .
BTW the error looks like this after I click on the exe file to start the game goes into full screen mode then the error message appears like this

You probably need to change your computer language to Japanese.
Assuming you are using Windows 7, go to Control Panel, "Clock, Language and Region", "Region and Language", choose "Administrative" and click on "Change System Locale". After that, select "Japanese (Japanese)". You'll need to restart. After that, the game should be good to go.
EDIT: Oh, and you will need Japanese RTP (not the normal English RTP). You can find it in the wikia that Biggamefreak provided, but for convenience's sake, http://www.mediafire.com/?uh37m4w3yr4kjjs
And while we're at it, you might want to check out my profile and a RPG Maker 2000 game that I'm translating Japanese to English at the moment ;)

thanks for all that help I will give it a go :) but one question if I change my laptop which uses windows 7 to Japanese letters will the whole laptop turn Japanese making it difficult to turn it back to English mode ?

No the method that I showed you only changes the language in non-unicode programs, that is, only when running certain programs (RPG Maker being one of them). Normal windows like login to windows, interface etc. will still be English.
Sigh lol well the changing of the language worked great but the game still crashes but instead of Gibberish it's all in Japanese letters now.

and that rtp you gave me is all in English I thought an rtp had to be installed using the exe installer file , I did have a Japanese rtp installer for rpg maker 2000 but I get an error message about "syntax is incorrect" what ever that means.

Oops, apparently I gave you the wrong link. That link is the English RTP. Here's the correct link to the Japanese RTP (without installation because I extracted them out): http://www.mediafire.com/?26fg67a063idyhw
What you need to do is, instead of installing, extract all the files into the Nobita game folder itself. Replace if necessary.
And the reason why the game still crashes is because no Japanese RTP. The picture basically states that the game cannot be opened.
By the way, it's not really necessary to install RTP. If you have the source RTP files, you can actually paste them into the folder of a RPG Maker RPG (that requires RTP) and it will work fine.

YAY ! it works now lol thank you very much for taking the time to help me out :)
Ive also downloaded the game your translating and Im going to give that a go as well :)
