That should all be pretty straightforward. Could you do me a favour and make a quick mockup of exactly what you want it to look like? (even if it's just a shitty Paint thing, it's just for my reference)
i have made a small scheme tho i suck at graphic so that's the best i came up with but that should give you the idea:

the blue and pink boxes are the background immages for actor 1 and actor 2 (my partner will take care of this). also in this game, players shoud save a lot and in different slots.. to be honest i don't know if the number of saveslots avaliable depends from the script or not but it should have something like 100 slots or so.

load and save menu are basically identical, only request i have is that the load menu should be called via event because i'm not using standard title screen but i'm making my own via game events.

one last thing if that's helpful to you in some way, standard resolution for this game is changed to 640 x 416

Okay, cool. I'm working on a game right now but once I've got some time I'll see what I can whip up for ya.

cool :D
Heya. I don't really need any script for projects (since I always end up killing 'em anyway :D) right now, but uh... since I finally found some able and "willing" to do so, I would love to request a few "fast and easy learning scripts" :p

Could you maybe, after taking care of more important tasks hook me up with the first one? I was thinking of "drawing on top of your screen via script (no pictures other than maybe a font reference or what's necessary)). Somithing easy like

"Hello, world" constantly displayed in the upper right corner would do. All I desire it to be is short, easy and understable so I can modify it :P
Come to think of it, on my last attempts I modified the timer a little to make it fit a daytime/nighttime system. Going that direction again would be sweet, since it showed me several possibilities (changing textposition via x,y , making it smaller/bigger , some other font and most of all, replace the variables. I could have all my variables visible during playtests and thereby notice errors in their configuration).

suggestion learning script 1 - drawing variables in a string:

while trigger (lets say switch/variable/younameit 0001:timeofday) is active, draw "value of variable 0002:value of variable 0003" in the upper right corner at a given font, size, and color. Variable 0002:hour would be 0-23 and 0003:minute 0-59.
When trigger is not active stop drawing/ remove the text (maybe after wrecking your ship the currents take you to an underground dungeon which you wonder for days without having any sense of time, lol).

Since it's for learning purpose, a few commentary notes whereever you deem helpful would appreciated. You can put them right next to the code and comment them out.
How do you comment something out for that matter :D

ps: current engine is rmxp trial, but since I don't expect to this anytime soon and am planning swinging to vx ace right after... vx ace/rgss3 it is :)
