In RMXP while setting for conditions, I noticed there was no condition for If this item is in inventory option. Does someone know of or can give me a script which allows me to set event conditions by having certain items in your inventor?
Its in there already: Go to the 4th tab in a Condition Branch. There's an Item X In Inventory second from the top.

There's also one for weapon and armour too.

No on the sidebar next to the event page where you set the graphics for the event there is no condition for items. I'm asking this because it does not work when I do it like that and I'm using an ABS so when you defeat the boss I want it to drop an item which triggers this event which is an autostart if I do the conditional branch autorun it just does not let my chracter move or the boss move.
Well, don't use an autorun, use a parallel process.

I also used Parallel Process but the didn't activate when you recieved the item.
Set the event that occurs when you pick up the tem to a parallel process. Have it wait 0 frames then do a condition branch to see if the item is in your inventory. In the branch do the processing that you want it to do, then erase itself.

Ah, thank you for all your help i simply used a function in the ABS where when the enemy dies it turns on a switch due to it's ID which I made the event autorun and had the condition that switch. It worked out pretty good although I now have a new problem. There is a room in the game where your sneaking around and you have to get to this pipe, when you get to the pipe, I made an event where you hit the action button and you teleport to a diffrent room. Everything goes smoothly up until you hit the button to teleport a box pops up saying something about a Syntax_Error and then closes the game.
If there's a syntax error you should be able to open the script editor after the game window closes from the error and it should take you to the line with the syntax error.
