When I see all the amazing art on DA, I totally get depressed because I have NO idea how to use Photoshop to do that kind of thing. I really want a cintiq more than anything. That's my super-expensive-want-to-buy thing. I don't like the tablet to screen thing. I need to learn though. Or pull a couple thousand outta' me arse!

So I was asking how people found RMN. How 'bout you?
Ultimately, through a Google search. However, there's a bit more story behind this. I might have written this somewhere else, but I'll write it here for the
I was introduced to RPG Maker 2000 by my brother. Not 100% sure where he got it from, but neither of us was really a "community person". It wasn't until sometime after I got RPG Maker VX that I thought it might be nice to share all the stuff I made. That's when I did my Google search, and found RMN, among other places. RMN's gamepage feature is what drew me to it over the other sites.
Saying that, all I had was stuff I made in two weeks (Or less!) that had very little effort put into them. So, when I visted RMN's front page, and it had Averice staring right at me (It was a game made in two weeks, mind you.), it was something of a mind-blowing experience!

But seriously? If I come down that way for sure! That'd be very, very cool! I'd probably bring someone along too, the more the merrier!
I actually am starting to really consider getting more serious. I've had a couple requests from a friend of mine, and some other people. Got encouragement from my closest friends as well. So I should. I really should. I haven't done anything serious in years. I'm overdue.
One project is a wildlife pic, another is a portrait request that I'm not sure I'll be able to do since I don't do people usually. I mean, I suppose if I put a lot of time into it it'd get done. I'm a perfectionist when it comes to my art that anyone is going to see, normally. Only my close friends and family get to see my sketches.
@Marrend: That's awesome! I haven't made any games, and again, loathe to get started just right now. But the community is fun, and I can post from my iPhone or computer, so it's all good. :) Made in only two weeks? NICE! What's your best game you've made up to date?

Yep, I'm my own worst critic. Nothing I ever do is good enough for me, even if people tell me I'm crazy. They have to say that. They're being NICE.
Oooh, that sounds just amazing! Here be Dragons is one of my favorite things to SEE on anything. I love dragons, though...because you couldn't tell that from my pixel Hadeth one! ;)

I would like to say I finished all the old rpg games out there, but there are a LOT. So I probably haven't. At all.
Charm? ///.__./// Nah, I just say what's on my mind, is all. Be yourself, I guess, and all that? I don't let what other people think bother me, but I do care about other people and how they feel and respect their opinions. I can be a bit sarcastic and have a wicked sense of humor that borderlines on obnoxious at times...but ya know, thanks for thinking I have charm anyhow. Your introduction wasn't boring. It was sincere as I mentioned in there. Plus you knowing more than one language is the bomb! Thanks for the welcome~

Never too late! Hey there Sana, thanks for the welcome. Very neat Avatar, by the way. I'm totally digging these avatars I'm seeing. I want to get a few that I can swap out, though I'm a huge dragon fan so Hadeth there looks pretty ossum sitting all dark and imposing there under my name~
I gotta' ask...what is the numbers beside the 'm'? I was guessing it's something like 'money', since I have been on other forums. I don't see anywhere we can see how many posts we've made, though. So sad.
The M is your makerscore, Kat. You get it for submitting things like reviews and game pages to the site. It's mostly for bragging, but it has a practical use by giving you larger locker space the more you have.
