QUESTIONS ABOUT RPG MAKER XP AND VX ACE

Actually I think one of the large shopping chains does have Ace on their shelves (physical copies). I think it might have been Coles/Woolworths or K-mart or something like that. The staff at RMWeb know more about it, actually, but there are physical retail copies of it floating around the world. You could probably ask at your local large chain superstore tm.

Also, if you have a Steam account (not likely but just in case) you can purchase a copy through them.

And man, I never use my debit card (bar online splurging and steam sales - same thing I guess). I prefer cash over card since I know all the fees associated with cash payments and legal tender never gets turned away. ^.^
