I have another question concerning cleric skills--is it possible to make a skill that displays enemy information a la Scan/Libra?

Yanfly has a script for that, but I'm not sure if its a spell.
When the enemy s defeated I know you can press a button later
to view the enemy stats.

Yes, use Yanfly's Enemy Target Info script.
Then make a skill named 'scan' that has the note tag:
<scan info: all>
