Hi guys,

I am trying to create a few characters with pink and purple hair in my game. Unfortunately, Ace's character generator doesn't have those hair colors. I am not good at editing sprites myself, so I can't do much about these characters. Since my game is a fan game, I can provide pictures of the characters I am trying to make.

The sprites aren't anything complicated, they are just the normal RTP style. There is nothing I could repay you with, beside a "Thank you" and putting your name on the credits list. If anyone can spare some time to help me, please PM me or post in this topic.

I might give this a try. Though, to be honest, I'm more worried about the outfit than the hair color.

Thank you very much, Marrend. Those are really awesome! But there is a couple things I would like to address:

1. The sprites seem darker than the rest of the sprites in the game. I think I forgot to tell you to make them all light-skinned. I am so sorry about this. :(

2. Mayl's outfit should be blue and pink. Yours seemed more like green and purple. Can you fix these two things? :)

3. Is it just me, or does Lan seem a little gangster-like? I don't know why, I just feel like he does. :P

I should be able to pull off something lighter.

Mayl's outfit should be blue and pink. Yours seemed more like green and purple. Can you fix these two things?

Actually, it should be easier to change the color schemes than before. Though, saying that, the reference I was given had a green shirt, a blue vest over it, and a pink skirt. The skirt, okay, I guess I goofed a bit on that. The top I paid a bit more attention to, but, I guess the sprite size makes things like that less noticeable. If the preference is blue-pink, I can do that.

Oh, so his name is "Lan", not "Ian". Huh. Anyway, I somehow assume it's the hair. I was doing this off of the VX Ace character maker, and this style seemed to match him best. Not perfectly, but best. Also, it occurred to me later on that I probably would have been better off were I have edited the bandanna from a bald model, and placed it on Lan afterwards. Though, if it's okay as-is (aside from the skin coloration)...

Hm... Still a tiny bit darker than I hoped, but that will work just fine. :P Thanks a lot for your hard work! :D

The tie could be rather difficult to place (for me), but here's what I've got for him anyway.

Hirragi Miki attempt.

Hirragi Inori attempt.

Takara Yukari attempt.

Damn it, I swear I read "pink skirt" for the last one.

Um... OK. I don't know who the glasses guy is, but if that's supposed to be the first picture, then it's bad. That was a female police officer. What you had seemed more like a high school guy with long hair. XD

Anyway, the sprites that I have for that one and Matsuri look a little better, so I'll stick with them. The last one should have green eyes instead. But I think I could work on that one with the generator myself, so we'll leave that one for now. :D The other three are kinda good, but not quite.

Miki is great, so I'll take that one. I don't really like the hair you had for those two, but the outfits are great. Yukari should have type 1 and type 9 for her hair. Inori could have type 4 and type 11. I think they would look better.

This is what I get for not knowing a damn thing about the reference. That character looked like a guy to me!
