I'm Lucy, 23 years old.
I started using RPG Maker XP nearly two years ago.
I'm not perfekt, but I'm really good at eventing and mapping :D
I'm already active on a few German Forums, but the second project I'm working on will have an english translation so I thought it could not be that bad to come here ;)
At last let me say, I'm German... so... feel free to correct my English. ;D
It's not as good as I want ^^,

Welcome to RMN, Lucy! Your English is not half bad ... there's some RMN members who I assume are native speakers, I can hardly understand. And yes, we can always use some good mappers ... There's this mapping forum topic where you can help and get helped:

Regarding eventing, that's a tough one to assess. If you happen to play somebody else's game make sure to give them some feedback regarding it and maybe you can suggest a way to fix whatever problem you see.
You should consider participating in this event:
Apon the Brow of Tomorrow, Clear
I realize that they'll be using RPG Maker 2003 for it, so if you're not comfortable with that, perhaps you'll consider participating in this other event:
All Hallows' Event
The advantages of this one are that you'll be able to use RPG Maker XP, have more time to submit your entry (October 31 vs. 20, for the other one), maybe you'll surprise everyone and get yourself a prize, and, finally, you get some nice makerscore for participation and a nice achievement badge, eventually.
I have a question for you: Do you attend Oktoberfest?
Anyway, contribute lots!

You have interesting events here. Such prices surely are the advantage of such a big community. Mabe I should try it :D
No, I don't like Oktoberfest. ^-^ Too loud, too many (drunk) people xD
And Munich is quite far from my hometown. (And too expensive)

I've never really understood the concept of "too far" in places like Europe. It just seems to me like everything is really congested over there. I mean, you could fit all of Germany in the province of Saskatchewan, Canada. How far away could anything be in Germany, really? My wife lived in Germany for a few years when she was a kid on a Canadian Air Force base in Baden Baden.
Welcome to RMN! Or is it Welkommen? I don't know german at all...

@kentona:
Traveling in Germany is really expensive. Especialy fuel.
So... maybe it's not sooooo far, but expensiv. -.-
(Canada is so huge O.O)
@edchuy:
Ahhhm... an Autobahn is similar to a highway. Just a long road xD
@Solarlune:
Thanks for that tipp. I#m sure I'll need it ^-^

Just checked. Gas in Germany is almost TWICE of what I pay! Then again, Germans earn several times what I earn per hour. The taxes there must be pretty high. Are buses and trains relatively inexpensive way to travel there? I would suspect flying is also expensive, knowing airlines ....
Every way to travel is expensive here D,: (And I really don't know why)
And yeah.. we have very high taxes -.-
But hey, could be worse xD

What!?!?!?
And you call yourself a "German"! *tsk-tsk*
(Actually, I don't drink myself. So, like you, I would probably be pretty bored and just munch on pretzels all day until it was time to go home.)
- Willkommen in RMN! :D
