Hey there everybody ^.^ I'm not sure if this is in the right forum but uh.... I'm..er, rather a noob and new to this site. But i've been playing games from this site for years, and lately i've been looking for a game that has something to do with like a virtual reality within the game, such as someone getting sucked into a video game.
Or a game that entails going through a cyberpunk or steampunk world with a great story!!
I know those are both completely different but i'm really interested in those. If there are already some projects out there like that, please let me know ^.^ And although i know nothing about scripting (yet) if anyone has plans to do this, i'd love to be a beta tester or help with the story line!! I've written some stories before that received great feedback so i think i'm pretty good at that stuff ^.^

The Adventure of High School Students might be up your alley, but Online Forces ReDux could be closer to the kind of thing you're looking for in respect to virtual reality within a game. As for steampunk, the game that comes to mind is Night of Marian, but, yeah, it's been on hiatus for, like, ever.
You could check out Deckiller's The Encephalon. It's short but it does deal with virtual reality (of a kind). There is a sequel but it's currently on hiatus, but the first one is complete.
LockeZ
I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

While it doesn't literally fit your request, Cosplay Crisis might interest you if you're a Final Fantasy fan. The characters aren't sucked into a virutal world, but... well, without spoiling it too badly, I guess you could say the opposite happens.
Catharsis is a steampunk game that's currently in development, and you should watch.
