WHAT TYPE OF DEVELOPER ARE YOU?
Posts
I'm the kind of developer who always thinks he's going to get something done and then spends the day snoozing under the window.
Hmmm...
Well my strenght lies within my writing and artworks.
It is very easy for me to come up with a plot and start to write about it.
Create the characters and design them.
But I struggle when it comes to balance the gameplay as well to come up with good puzzels. Also I'm a perfectionist which can make the game's development time sky rocket...
A game I plan to finish in 6 month is not finished after two years and so on...
Lucky That I got a team member who is the opposite.

Maybe your avatar should be of a cat ... NO, not that one.

I procrastinate a lot, but I do my best to get work done regardless. I do my best when I spend at least 3-4 months on a demo, though I usually go a bit beyond or below that.
I try to focus equally on story and gameplay, meaning I try to take full advantage of the battle system and all the scripts I use so it's as fun as possible, and I try to make sure most of the characters get at least some level of development so they aren't just satellite characters (where their only purpose is to be there for a specific mission), while making the story easy to follow and avoiding plot-holes as much as I can.
I think my strength is either boss fights or crazy ideas. When I really put my mind to it, I'm capable of making very entertaining battles, but I also make up some of the most insane stuff imaginable. Part of the charm of my work, I feel, is that everything's just really wacky while still being bearable.

Ah, I know that feel. I kinda hate waking up with a plan only to spend the day rewatching AVGN vids for the nth time
I love writing my games and I have these great scenes and fantastic quest elements and I am so excited...
um...
Okay, how do I put it all together...?
^^
^^Yeah, that's me.

My strengths:
Level design, making things look pretty and worldbuilding
My weaknesses:
Battle balancing, making interesting game mechanics. -_-

me
or rather
I'm the kind of developer that has a nice, fresh idea... Then off to write on paper and suddenly becomes an analphabet
Then starts drawing a few characters, hates them and *destruction rains from the heavens*
