DUNGEONS & DRAG-QUEENS: CAPED COSPLAY!

Posts

I like how I'm marked by a rainbow circle on Da' Map. That's a nice touch.

Also, speaking of which, I don't see Olas on that map. Where's Olas?
(I just took like half an hour writing a fricken' post and it didn't post!)

Basically; I send Neku (my pig) to find somewhere safe to hide and loot all the goblins it can. I tell Aridath to fight. I use my Ganster Crossbow to shoot my balls of light at the boss. (When I run out of MP I'll just start throwing dead goblins at him.)

-Kristoff is occupied and held back by balls of light, and rainbows.
-Kristoff takes 12 Goodness Damage from the light and rainbows. It's just too damn happy! (1d6 per x2)
-Kristoff is afflicted with Charm, and will be Rhys' friend for 5 Turns! Jesus... when you want a bad roll...
-After deciding what to do, Diamond runs around behind the firepits.
-Bruce Baker is still instructing people to board windows.
-Olas Baker is still milking her cows.
-Harry sends his owl to attack the werewolf! Not very effective... 0 Damage (1d6-2)
-Aridath is ready for action! He will preform basic attacks!
-Neku the Pig finds nothing.
LockeZ
I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

dammit

I wanted to make sure he bit me before the fight was over, I was only sneaking around and attacking from cover because I knew it was going to take a bunch of turns. Don't just decide what my character is going to do without my consent!

Can we back up to turn 2 and do the fight for real? This is basically bullshit.

:/ sorry.
I'll undo all tonight then. It is officially 2 Turns back.

I was trying to timeskip because I've been too busy and kept you guys waiting.
Sorry for the bullshit.
feeling kinda shit. Wasted a couple hours on all this and went to bed late as a consequence. Herpderp

I mean I feel bad making you do it, too. Sorry! But I also want to, well, actually play. I was super excited about finally having the first battle in the game, with HP and abilities and everything, and then it was just gonna get completely skipped.

It doesn't bother me at all if you take a week or two to post sometimes! That's totally fine, don't feel bad about taking a while. What really does bother me, though, is if, at the end of that week or two, instead of doing a normal game post and letting us move on to the round I've been anticipating for a week or two, you just skip past it and I don't actually get to do anything.

(As an aside, I also kinda wonder if maybe we shouldn't get XP for the goblins on the ground. You're the one designing the challenges, so if you want us to be level 10-11 after the battle then that's fine. But that's a ton of powers, so I wouldn't be offended if you decided to only give XP for actual battles and not for cut scenes.)

Anyway, I will chuck a flaming log at Kristoph from back here. Rhys, can you ask Kristoph to give me a friendly, non-fatal nibble?
Sure, if you want to be a werewolf so badly.

Goodness gracious, Diamond, really? A werewolf? You cray-cray.

Okay, uh, I guess I'll just continue attacking the werewolf with my rainbows. Yeah, that sounds good.
also I love that drawing of me Dudesoft
( we're really redoing this?.. Ok, but I'm not sure what all has been undone.)

I'll do this:

Is that alright?
Wow! Neele must really like transforming!

-Diamond's flaming log does 10 Damage!
-Rhys sends Kristoff, his buddy-old-pal, to give Diamond a wee nip with infection!
-Alex Rift and Wes do 14 Damage collectively!
-Neku finds 1 Twig of Water-Finding! (Determines the NWES direction of water!)
-Harry stands around picking his nose.
-Bruce and Olas arrive!
-Kristoff leaps clear over the fire pit and attacks Diamond with Infect! Diamond takes 5 Damage! Miraculously (no word of a lie, rolled 1!) Diamond is infected with Transform: Werewolf!
Diamond learns "Transform: Werewolf" Power Pool!
Transform: Werewolf LVL0
Dire Werewolf: 0 MP Cost (Turn into a half wolf monster. ATK= 2xPower Pool Level) Passive Ability

Boss: Kristoff the Werewolf!

HP: 124
MP: 15
ATK: 1d6+2
POWER POOL:
Transform: Werewolf LVL2
Dire Werewolf: 0 MP Cost (Turn into a half wolf monster.) Passive Ability
Infect: 5 MP Cost (5 Damage. 1-6 chance to infect with "Transform: Werewolf" Power Pool.) 2 Turn Cool-Down

Diamond will be a 7-Year Old Girl for 2 Turns!
Sweet now I'll start pummeling him from afar. I don't want to get infected.
I can't believe you wanted to turn into a werewolf, Diamond. It's just crazy. I mean, how do you know you'll be able to control your actions while being a werewolf? (How do werewolves work in this game, like are they traditional bloodthirsty hounds who can't control themselves or what?)

Anyway, my rainbows seem to be working quite nicely, so I suppose I'll continue shooting rainbows at the werewolf!!
Edit: What the hell, I didn't even accidentally click the "post" button twice or anything, why'd I double post?
But... what's the point of having rainbows if they don't SPARKLE?

Accidental transformations are pretty much my entire character gimmick. I sure wasn't gonna pass up some werewolf genes.

Anyway, Kristoph can clearly control himself in that form - I saw him helping to lead the army and speaking to Vladimir earlier. So it's at least possible.

Well, the werewolf jumped over the fire pit, so this would be the correct time to shriek like the little girl I am, and hide behind Bruce Baker after running between his legs. Now that Bruce has arrived, I'll have him attack Kristoph and cover Diamond with his twin broadswords.
Hm, yes, excellent point. Okay, just as long as you don't go crazy and infect me with your werewolf-iness I'm fine with it.

Oh, and the rainbows I'll be shooting at Kristoff should be EXTRA SPARKLY. For Rhys. :>
Aridath I choose you! (I make him summon up when of them fancy magical swords.)

I'll save my MP for later, right now I'll throw my potion of illness at him. I also start attacking with my brass-plated short sword.
(When did I get either of those things?)

They are figments of a time anomaly. So, I guess they'll stay. Whoop! Luck through my own misguided discretion.

Game Post 46

-Rhys pummels Kristoff from afar, and since they're best chums for 3 more turns, he just tells Kristoff to pummel himself.
-Kristoff attacks himself! 7 Damage!
-Sparkles blitz through the sheath of magical rainbows jolt forward through Kristoff's evil soul for 2 Damage!
-Diamond ducks beneath Bruce Baker's legs!
-Bruce Baker deals 39 Damage!
-Aridath creates a magical sword for Rift! Gain temporary +4 ATK Magical Sword of Truth and Lust for 4 Turns!
-Alex Rift sends the Potion of Illness shattering across Kristoff's unfortunate face that only a mother could love. (-1 Potion of Illness)
-Kristoff is now Puking for 5 Turns! This cancels the Friendship status effect! Kristoff and Rhys are no longer buddy-ol-pals!
-Projectile vomit is now all over Bruce Baker and little old Diamond.
-Olas and Harry are standing idly by.

Boss: Kristoff the Werewolf!

Diamond will be a 7-Year Old Girl for 1 Turns!
I'll have Harry attack while I find some hot beverage to splash in the werewolf's face.
