I've been lurking around here sporadically for over a year. I really like the community here. I come every so often to check on some of the interesting games that are put out.
The reason I finally joined is that I am considering making a serious game in RPG Maker VX Ace. I've messed around with the software quite a bit before, but never in the intention of making a serious game with it. I've made games using other engines and frameworks, but not in RPG Maker. I will have questions on the engine's performance and limitations.
Now that I am making a project, I feel like I have something to contribute and thus officially belong in the community.
Please be gentle.

Welcome 2 RMN! U R among quite a few fellow ex-lurkers that have decided 2 come out of the woodwork (or is it closet, 4 some of U). Anyway, good luck making your game. Be sure to ask around 4 help when U need it. U have probably noticed that it helps 2 ask nicely and don't mind a few grumpy members, they don't know how 2 behave ...
