NAME THAT BGM (CONCLUDED?)

LockeZ
I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

I honestly wonder if that's from a video game. I think that Sky Mountain was from an actual electronica/trance album and it wouldn't surprise me to find Davenport using more of such.
I was thinking while listening that it had too many crescendos and changes and climaxes during the song to be video game background music (climax at 2:15, sudden change at 3:00, new instrument at 3:30, decrescendo and then jump back up at 5:30, all way too late in the song for a video game, where you'd expect it to keep the same tone throughout except for the very beginning of the song becaue it's trying to simply create a mood for the zone). Then I started to type that, but had to leave work before I could figure out exactly why I thought it didn't sound like video game music. Then I remembered to get back on seven hours later and you had posted something similar.
If it is game music, my guess would be... ending credits from something.
I feel less embarrassed for not knowing what these songs are now. Crystal sea's shelved, too.
Try Dark Castle on for size:

Dark Castle
I don't know if it's in another game in the series, but I've heard it in Kirby's Dream Land 2: Dark Castle theme.
It seems that this version is just a remix of the original, but yes, it's from Kirby's Dream Land 2. So that's close enough, and Avee is officially winning.
Yay, we finally got one! I'll post the next when I'm home from work.

Out of curiosity, why the heck is it titled Dark Cloud 2 - Jurak?
author=IsrieriThat's why I was stumped by it. I looked up that song and I was just like wtf is this???

I'm in dire need of sleep so I'll post the next one tomorrow.
EDIT: Although now that I think about it, the song title WAS Lizard Dance, and the file name didn't match it. I deleted most of the extra details for BGMs used in RMN World because I'm an OCD weirdo, so...yeah. I probably won't do that next time.
The haunting melody part (sans techno-remix-trance-whatever) can be found in the flash game Simpleton. There aren't any music credits in it though, so my trail went cold :(
Do I at least get a half-point for that? :3

Hmm, that does sound similar to the underlying tune. However, it doesn't properly ID the song or its source, so...nope. Though perhaps it came from something else on Newgrounds???

Searching for "ambient" music on Newgrounds Audio gets you over thirty thousand results, and the only way to narrow it down any further is by "tags" which are useless for finding stuff because every submitter uses them differently. You can sort by release date or popularity, but that's not helpful.
What's the file creation date on Dimension2? That would be a useful clue.

3D Dot Game Heroes. I know it's the desert tune. Probably "Neungtra Desert", considering my search results.
*Edit: 3D Dot Game Heroes is also a pretty interesting game.
*Edit2: Okay, it's not "Neungtra Desert". Damn it, I know that song is in that game, but...!
*Edit3: Sorry for being so bad at this. It's "http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rMpn4VK9G1s]Go to the Wilderness".
