CloseI started picking up Pixel Art back in March-April of last year (2012). From then until now I've been spending a majority of my free time on practicing pixel art or making pixel art game assets. Here are some of my most proud of artwork that I've made over this exact time span.
These are in fact the only select few of my work that I *think* I'm allowed to showcase. Most of the work I've done are for projects and bound to exclusivity. Some of them are part of Restaff Releases on RPGMakerWeb.
Criticism is welcome. Although I most likely won't make any adjustments as most of these were finished quite a while ago.
These battlers were made for project Reincarnation led by Hirei & Archeia.

This one is a pixel adaptation of Akiko 2 made by omocha-san over at DeviantArt. This one was mainly for fun, experimentation and anatomic study.

Moar update. Got tired of doing game art. So I did this. This is Corvo from Dishonored's mask. Took about 6 hours. Total 9 colors.
That little skippy sprite makes me so happy for some reason. I don't know what that reason is, but it does.
Question: Do you take commissions? I'm finding that animating original characters in pixels is a bit beyond my expertise (I can do it, but the result is quite lackluster), so in future projects I may just seek out skilled and talented people like yourself who make beautiful pixel art like this ^_^
Thanks for the kind offer but sorry I'll have to disappoint. I'm not available for hire right now and I'm not exactly the right person to call when it comes to animating ahaha.

Great art, though title is a bit misleading. I thought you made art by cleverly arranging 2k3's Alex sprite or something.
