Coincidentally, the longest I've been awake is 3 days too.

There were a lot of things that I had to deal with and stupid me procrastinated on every single one of them.

3 days of being up and one heavenly day of recuperation~<3

About two days straight back and college...and this Wednesday and Thursday, actually.

Glad you clarified that at the end as 3 days, not 3 hours.

Right now I've been awake for 24 hours. But I had a 30-minute nap though. Stupid assignments. I have another one to do now that I finished that last one. G'oh.
I find that those 30 minute power naps really refresh you when you've been awake for a long period of time.

Yeah they kind of do, I guess. The train seat is really comfy too. And now it's 28 hours and I'm kind of at that spot where I feel normal but really relaxed and things just flow. My post count gets higher because I don't really think of what I'm writing before I type it, and everything just turns out as either an existential rant or bitter ramblings of a lost child. But I find it kind of serene, this half-wakingness. It's what I think smoking weed is like. Because I've never partook in the drug, I can't tell what the feelings are like, but I can assume they're a mixture of euphoria and numbness. Extreme tiredness produces these effects, so maybe I'm getting high from sleep deprivation? Is this possible? Can a doctor please verify this?

Whoops! Would you believe I was tired when I wrote that~?

@CC I think I recall hearing that people get a rush of euphoria right before their body thinks they're going to die.

So, uh, maybe your body thinks you're dying?

I see. Well, see you in the next life, then.

Just kidding! Perhaps. But I've also heard people get a terrifying fear of death just before they die. Who do I believe? What is life anymore?

I'm at 29.5 hours and still kicking. I'm wishing to go home soon. My brain is starting to feel a little... icky. I pretty much almost fell asleep sitting upright at the computer. Without my volition. The words are just typing themselves, I'm not even thinking about them all that much. For all I know I could be venting my existential fears right now, and people would just know all about me and my vulnerabilities and that crap. That would be scary.
