I don't know if this is the right place to ask this. However I am running into an annoying problem with RPG Maker 2003. I currently reworking a game I did in for my friends. The problem is I am using a picture for the text box and the text keeps appearing on the top instead of the bottom. Even if I set the message style to bottom the text still appears on the top. How do I fix this? Please help me find an easy solution that I can understand easily. Thank you in advance.
The text box option doesn't work for pictures, you'll have to set the X and Y coordinates yourself with the Picture commands.
Hope this helps!

I read this as "the text keeps appearing on the top". Rather than the picture.
author=MarrendThat's what it sounds like. Rose, try clearing the "Autoselect Window Position" box in Message Options; I suspect it may be what's causing your problem. BTW, you might find the "Rmtext" and "Image Positioner" tools helpful. I just discovered the latter myself.author=InfectionFilesI read this as "the text keeps appearing on the top". I'm sorry but how do you use these two programs? There are no instructions and I can't find where they are listed here.
EDIT: Never mind I figured it out. All I had to do was uncheck prevent hero from hiding, like you said. I doubt players would try to move during a cut scene in my game any way. Thank you very much.

Some will
LockeZ
I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

I've played some games that made me want to do anything in my power to escape the cut scenes!
But uh, if the player *can* move during the cut scene then you're making cut scenes the wrong way. Don't use the "event path" thing on the left side of the event to control event movement. That's only for townspeople who walk around. Use the "Move Event" event command for cut scenes.
