So, I got the first copy of FFIV DS my GameStop had, like, period. Right out of the UPS box.

I'm in the Mist Cave right now. They've updated it really well. I like the voices, the graphics are pretty good (the armor looks silly, imo, but that's just me), and I like the little touches they added.

Also, they just HAD to give another thing for completionists to OCD about (the Enchanted Maps).
Guess who just had a friend lend them DQVIII?

Booyah.

How is it that you can love video games so much but be so behind the curve :(

FINAL FANTASY IV DS.

I think I might pick this up tonight. I am still not that far into FFTA2 but I don't know I can't help myself!

I had a girlfriend that I eventually married.

Relationships are like video game's kryptonite.

It is funny you say that because I stopped playing video games (except while pooping because not having a handheld game is like pooping's kryptonite) when I became single. I only really play video games when I have a girl around!
I'm playing a game of Spaceward Ho! right now. It is a pretty cool 4X space game where you colonize and conquer planets with your fleet of ships. Its pretty simple but good fun. There is a Windows version floating around out there somewhere, so I encourage people to look it up.
Final Fantasy 7. No matter how many times I play, this game never gets old.
Final Fantasy VII got old fast.
Final Fantasy 7 sucks after Midgar, no one can disagree with this.

I do... oh I most definately do. I agree that it's overrated, but I could play it over and over again.
@Neophyte: Does the DS FFIV feature added story or any sort of modernized story similar to FF3 on DS, or is it a revamp with flash graphics and new dungeons. Regardless I'll have to buy it when I get back to Texas.

Yea I'm a sucker for RM games on a long summer day. Finally finished Balmung Cycle Part 1 (Hey, I like to take my time) and thinking about picking up Beloved Rapture. Still playing Pokemon Ruby and stuck on Lost Odyssey. Tomorrow I think I am going to replay FF6 and Dragon Quest 7 (only because I love my DQ)
FFIV DS definitely has added story, especially with the relationship between Cecil and Kain. The dialogue's been given a going-over as well.

As for new dungeons... I don't actually think there are any. There are two new super-bosses, but that's about it.

Also, just made it to Troia. I'll probably do some more flying (maybe to Agart or the Mythril Village), then power-level to complete own the Magnetic Cave. Cagnazzo was A LOT harder than I remember him. He kept countering me; it was annoying. And then I just had bad timing between my Blizzara/gas and Thundara/gas. Because when he has his water up, Blizzard heals him and Thunder damages him, but if he doesn't, Blizzard is his weakness and Thunder just does normal damage.
And if I hadn't seen the petrification of the mage twins before, it seemed like it would've been a really emotional scene. It was done pretty darn well. I can still barely tell the difference between Palom and Porom, though, especially in voice. Palom's voice is higher than Porom's, which is kind of... weird. I don't care how young they are; that's just weird.

And anyone who's played FFIV DS, does anyone change the commands around a lot like I do depending on the situation? I always have one Cure-type spell on the main command list so I can get to it easier. Items too. *had Cecil with (I)Potion on his command list at all times*

FFIV DS

Holy crap I love this game right now. A lot.

I am actually REALLY EXCITED to do laundry tonight because I get to play it.
I've just purchased a DS this week (late I know, but I got there) so I've cleared Final Fantasy 3, Chocobo Tales and Magical Starsign and am about to start Pokemon Pearl.

In a week!?...*faints*
I've almost cleared FFIV in four days. <.<

Final Fantasy 3 is a bit of a short game, Chocobo Tales is CRAZY short, and Magical Starsign is as well, not to mention the latter two are easy as pie.
Final Fantasy III? Short? I didn't find it short! :M

Ku ku ku.

I've recently started playing Seiken Densetsu 3. I just beat my second God Beast! (Xan Bie). But that's about it. I'm also playing Final Fantasy Tactics A2 on-and-off as well.
I always thought it was 'Fu fu fu', not 'Ku ku ku'...
My laugh is "Ku ku ku"! >=D

But I'm sure there's a "Ku ku ku" and a "Fu fu fu". >__>
I remember a fufufu from a game, can't think of what now though.

Also, I was going to take advantage of my Japanese knowledge and do that in japanese characters, but my language bar is being all gay right now.
