"INVOKE CHI":JUST WHAT IS THAT?

I've been using RPG Maker 2003 for three years, but I haven't dared touch the Invoke Chi setting because I don't know what it does. Can someone explain it to me? It's not in RM2K3's Help file, either.
I think it's just a separate group from magic, similar to how some games separate their "magic" skillset from their "skill" or physical skillset. If that's not the case, then I don't know. :x

I'm still confused. From that description, I guess I'll never need it, but it's still gonna bother me...

It's just a default flavor description since not everyone's special skills in RPGs fall under what you would call 'Magic'.

Too bad there's no way to make separate menu for items, eg. key items or character-specific stuff.
There is - it's called a custom menu system and takes a lot of work (more than most people are willing to do) in 2k/2k3.
And a custom battle system to it? Oh no, I'm not into this kind of stuff. CMS and CBS requires a lot of work, which is too much for me. And I don't need separate item menu in main game menu, but in battle...
I think that @preki actually meant something among the lines of "too bad they didn't make item subsets as well" not as in "i wish event coding was possible" :v

And is easier with DynRPG, especially since Cherry started to work on it again.
How does DynRPG even work? It does not do anything to the engine/editor RPG_RT.exe is the game tester thingy itself.
Chi section would be useful for skills that do not use MP, that you want to use a different energy consumption method for. Also summons...
