WHAT IS A HOBBY YOU'VE ALWAYS WANTED TO EXPLORE?

The more crazy dreams I have, the more obvious it becomes that I'll need to add 3D modelling to my repertoire, and hope that 3D game engines are easy enough to use nowadays, or whenever I get around to attempting such a thing.
I know of Blender, and have heard about some engines like Unity, but my current computer isn't powerful enough to run these kinds of things.

Cooking, but eventually I actually got into that and it turns out I'm pretty decent at it. It's really an art; the different spices, getting a handle on the measurements, types of knives, flavor balance, etc etc.
Other than that, auto repair. My car is my lifeblood, and I'd love to learn how to play it like an instrument instead of waiting for it to fuck up and taking it to someone else to fondle around with and charge me outrageous amounts of money.

I love cooking too. As for auto repair...invest in a Hayne's manual for your vehicle. Provided your car isn't one of these modern computerized monstrosities, auto maintenance is surprisingly easy and you'd be surprised how inexpensive many parts are. The water pump. That's a 1000 dollar job at any garage. The part is under 200 dollars. You just have to remove the radiator and the serpentine belt to get to it. On my truck, 12 bolts, and since the water pump is part of your radiator system, you need a gasket (a tube of blue Permatex works fine and is only 8 bucks). As for how to put your serpentine back on...there's a diagram right there on the hood, or on the radiator mount right in front of you. About a four hour job and it definitely beats having to wait for the garage and spending tons of money.
Wow, thanks for the advice, guys. But for now, I think I'll save up my money to buy a graphics tablet so I can work on my art for now. XD

Yeah I got a Haynes manual, they're the tits! That, and http://www.reddit.com/r/Cartalk/ is my best friend right now for car stuff. It's all about making time for it though, but I have access to an auto hobby shop where I can mess around with it.
Carpentry for me. Maybe hunting. Possibly baseball. Two of these I have tried and suck at. I can't kill, and I can't throw worth a damn. Carpentry I haven't bothered with since Junior High, but I still use my CD cases I made back then.
Perhaps having my own garage and tools might help.
Gardening is on my list too, but another problem with space and a tiny apartment.
Not much else. I just dive in if it interests me, normally.
Edit: The one hobby that eludes me (strictly from a time=money standpoint, is Animation. I love doing it, but seldom ever have the time in my schedule for it! Sadface.)

I've always wanted to explore the arena of creating traditional JRPGs, but I'm not sure where to start.
I would love to create games like so many of you have.
Got interested in Adven./RPGs when I got hooked on Legend of Zelda and shuffled
around the office at work because I was up till 4am playing :(
Created a thread here once asking if it was hard to make a game and everyone was very supportive.
So I purchased VXACE and could not even finish a dum stream through a village :(
Still would LOVE to make a real game or even help make one but I'm an old guy so will keep dreaming :)
