Super RMN World: 1337
Anyways, I'm heading into the top 100 of makerscore!
Just about 13 more places to go!
MOTIVATION BY STATISTICS!
By the way, I was wondering how the reviewing "system" works here.
Are they done randomly or so by people here?
Or on a "ask to be reviewed" basis?

author=cabfeIf you want to review a game, the game needs to have a download available. Then you can submit a review. Anyone on RMN can review any game with a download at any time.

(sometimes developers ask for reviews in the forums or whatever, but it isn't a requirement whether someone can review his game or not)

Seems like Liberty failed... but no one minds, right?
Oh, and Pom now has reached 1 mil views and the site didn't explode. Sorry, yuna, not this time.
Oh well, at least one of my games got into the Top ten. And looks like FFD is chasing down Super RMN world's number of images.
I really need to upload more of my resources here. And more media for dat sexy 30 MS.
I always feel weird about the images stat because I deleted like 40 images or so from FFD's gamepage a while back, but the stats still counts them. :/
Ah, I've only seen ~2 months of these. I just remember last month being 8xx, and now it's 9xx, and I can't pass up an excuse to beat myself up q_q
author=Additauthor=UPRCDon't you mean, "Dang, PewDiePie?" He's the one who started this whole mess, him and all his "bro's".
Dang, Pom.
Anyways, my goal for this month is to get into the 3k makerscore club. Can it be done? Of course. Will it be done? Maybe.
I love PewDiePie but I wouldn't call myself a "bro". But I think he's a funny guy and plays a lot of fun games with cool commentary. Just because he played Pom and made the game extremely popular, doesn't mean he's the devil. People subscribe to him for a reason - because he's fun and inclusive, and because some people find him a likable guy. Be happy for Pewds.

...Wonder if you could pull up stats for most edits and most PMs sent. Is that a thing? I think I'd make the most edits. I edit all the time. Every post, an edit or three.
I'll see your three edits and raise you five. Seriously I'm constantly revisiting my posts to reword or amend.
It's a sickness, I tell you....and how the heck I got into the top 10 this month is beyond my ken.
Actually if I hadn't be revisiting maybe I would have had time to play and review another couple of games. It's great we have such a large number of games available, but oh I do dislike the percentage going the wrong way.

You know what's freakin awesome guys? We have 2906 members who have actually contributed something to the site. That's a hell of a lot!
This.

Sviel, you've had six approved reviews this month, as well as working on Whisper. I don't think you have any reason to to beat yourself up about anything (unless that's your thing, in which case, go ahead).
What's this Final Fantasy Discovery sneaking up on my RMN World image count? Do I have to post more portraits next month? >:I
Our image counts will shatter the heavens in their duel.
But yeah, I also noticed that deleted images still count. SRW was originally going to have exactly 180, but I had to drop the few that were used to start the game profile for post-event development...except this one.

I ran some stats from Google Ads and got the pageviews served by Country. I just thought it was interesting to see the distribution. (remember this is ads, so people who have adblocker or are premium RMN members arent counted, skewing results)

I actually did not realize that...
Some day (as in, not "never) it would be nice to see some of the stats graphed to show them across say, a year? Or even the entire lifetime of the site since stats were being recorded.
Also, what exactly is keeping Pom on the buzzing games these days - there haven't even been that many comments and the downloads have slowed down... I think? So is it just sheer volume of page views now?

mostly that the overnight cron job isn't running correctly, and hasnt since late may, and the cron job is the one that decays buzz score.

Cron is still causing problems? Is it also responsible for the static nature of the New and Notable section, because that hasn't moved in weeks. The others seem to fluctuate (though Pom does rise close to the top eventually, but Mary fights back) but N&N hasn't changed at all.
