CloseWell, i am brazilian and make a Rpg Maker 2k game for years...
My english is poor, anda my game is not complete, but i thinking in make a english version of the new game. (is in portuguese - BR) The new i projected and is small, and ins incomplete too. But the people like it a lot.
Anyone understand portugese or spanish? I can put him here for you to review, and if anyone like i can make a english version of this.

And a question.
I only used the rpg maker 2k, because i think the other makers have ugly charsets...I thinking in transfer my game to rpg maker vx ace, but using the rmk2 chasets...I tried in rmxp, but if i resize, the character and chipset of maker 2k turns ugly to hue. If i use the 2k character in rmvx ace without resize, they will be so small or ugly or dont fit ok in tiles of chipset ?

Hey there! Welcome to RMN and here's hoping you hang around a while. Just so you know, you can add your game to the site by using the submissions option at the top of the page and following the steps there-in. Unlike many other forums, RMN doesn't do game topics within the forums themselves but instead have game pages where you can add images, change css, make pages, add media and blog about your game.

Just so you know, you can add your game to the site by using the submissions option at the top of the page and following the steps there-in. Your game there, it looks pretty cool from what I've seen on that page, although I don't understand Portuguese/Spanish. Best of luck if you decide to localize it in the end! In any case, we got some dope Brazilian lads around here, so I hope you'll find your place in this community.

Charlotte uses graphics inspired by 2K/2K3's RTP, and might be exactly what you might be looking for. Of course, it would be appropriate to ask the developer if you can use the graphics, and give proper credit, should you get the go-ahead.

I seem to recall calunio making a game in Portuguese (this one). However, I think it's a case-by-case basis thing. I'm sorry I cannot relate any specifics.

Once you have a gamepage, and a download, you can "edit" the download. I think, I hope, it'll be fairly self-explanatory when you get there.
Yes, we allow non-english games here! The only english requirement is that you need to have part of your game profile's description be in english (you have have other languages in your game profile's description, too, but you need to have an english section as part of it) This is because most of your users speak (or can speak) english. The game itself can be in any language.

I took Portuguese in Highschool but unfortunately I'm not very good at it.
My favorite Portuguese word is interessante because it makes the word interesting more interesante to say lol.

I only remember half of what I learned about Spanish in high school, though I've been trying to relearn since being able to speak it would be pretty useful here in Florida.
The only Portuguese I feel I know is the random words spoken in the Ender's Game books after the first one (Speaker for the Dead, Children of the Mind, ... whatever the other one was), like "Nossa Senhora" for "Virgin Mary", which I guess is kinda like "Jesus Christ" in that its just something you yell in disbelief, and I think "Nao" is "no". Or something like that.
