OFFERING TO MAKE YOUR GAME AN APP

I don't really know if this is exactly the website to post something like this on, but I am trying to get this out to as many people as possible in hopes of finding someone interested.

Hello, my name is Hunter Heidenreich and I am a programmer. I am most comfortable with Java and love using the libGDX cross platform libraries to create small 2D games that I can easily output to both desktop and mobile devices. My most recent project can be found here (play.google.com), it's nothing too special, but none the less, I made it and enjoyed making it.

I am here today, offering my services to anyone interested in taking a game they have made in the past and turning it into an app for the Google Play Store. Specifically, I am looking for 2D games; 3D really isn't something I have too much experience with. I would ask you to send me any source code, as well as the graphics to your game and then I would get to putting it together for you right away. I am a fast worker and a great problem solver who is looking for experience and love the idea of taking a game and putting it on a new platform for those who are interested.

I'm perfectly happy to sign any NDAs to protect your game and your artwork; I will do anything that you feel necessary before you disclose any of your hardwork to me. I am potentially looking to earn a little bit of money, however, if your game is small, I would happily work for free. At the end of the day, I am looking for experience and to make your game ready for the Google Play Store. If you are interested, respond here, PM me or shoot me an email at guitargodd97@gmail.com

Types of Games I'm looking for are 2D Games that fit the following categories:
Game Maker games
Any Flash based game
Games written in C++, Java, etc.
HTML5 games (Construct2 or otherwise)
Verge3 games
Small puzzle games made with RPG Maker
IG Maker games
Renpy visual novels
Sphere games
2D games made within Unity3D
If you have questions about any other types of games not listed, but you think might work well, then let me know :)

One note though, I am not looking to remake nor convert entire RPGs at this point in time, so if you have a full length RPG made in RPG Maker or something similar, that is slightly out of my skill realm, unfortunately.
I'd love to see my Oracle of Tao game see the light of day on iPhones and such. But there are considerations.

1. Alot of my art is found from online, since no, I don't have a pro-artist working for me. So there's a pretty strict free-to-use clause, where nobody can make any money from it. It'd need to be a free app.
2. You'd have to just set up a code, where it would convert the file straight into app format
3. The technical and other implications of it being a 2k3 game.
Hello bulmabriefs, I took a look at your game and thought about your considerations. As for the first one, with your art being free-to-use and so no money could be earned, that's not so much a big deal. Not a lot of people have to money to pay artists to make artwork, so I figure I will run into that kind of thing and working for free isn't all that bad. It gives experience.

However, the other two considerations do cause me concern. As for writing a code that would convert the game file straight into an app form, I'm not quite sure if that is possible, and if it is, it is way beyond my scope. There's a whole issue with RPG Maker game using scripts written in Ruby and the overall program being C++ based, where, when it comes to making apps, I only know Java for android.

So at this time, I think it's beyond my skill level to attempt that kind of project conversion, and the only other way to go about it, would be if I were to completely re-write the RPG Maker code in a Java form. That would take a lot of time and I don't quite know the legal ramifications for doing something like that, to be perfectly honest.

I would love to try and help you make your game into an app, but at this point, I just don't think I have the experience or skill level to go about doing so, I'm sorry to say :/
You do realize that you're asking to help convert games to an app on a site that is primarily RPG Maker (thus the name RMN = RPG Maker Network). And a lot of the non-RM editors are much more flexible in getting games converted, that outside help may not be as necessary as RM games.

I'm not knocking you for your assistance, but I feel the only people who may want to take you up on this are the ones you can't assist (the ones that primarily use RPG Maker). If you're unable to assist converting RM games, you might want to specify which editors you can do in your main post - not only does it keep people asking for things that can't be done, but it helps you to weed through the requests more efficiently.
I probably should have specified that in my original post, and I will make an edit to it, to be more specific with editors I am looking for. The only reason I didn't specify at the time was because I wouldn't be opposed to re-writing any sort of puzzle type games that were made in RPG Maker. But I see the fault in that logic now.

And like you said, this is an RPG Maker oriented website, so this is probably not the optimal place to offer something like this, but I also figured it wouldn't hurt. You never know what you may find until you ask :)
