CloseIve been downloading some rpg maker games lately, wondering if anyone came across one like lunar, that is well written, funny, with good characters. Imo the characters and writing make that game awesome.

The first game that comes to my head is Relic, but, the download is non-functional. BOOOO!

Exactly like Lunar, maybe not. But check everything by Indra & company, for small epic stories with funny characters and whatnot.

The classic Balmung Cycle has got some solid comical writing in it. Seconding Indra's games, too--Grumpy Knight is fantastic.
